No end of discussion & don't care about debating with the forum A..ss Clown.
I also have a CSR on one car and a Meziere on the other. Both working fine. Congrats again on your second place finish this year with no first round losses. I’d call winning more rounds in your first race than the know it all’s two cars did for the entire points season doing shyt. |

| The old back-up CSR water pump was installed today in our 68 Camaro for this years racing. The pump is 10-15 years old.

| Reviving an old thread. My old CSR has been rebuilt at least once, maybe twice. I switched to 16v this year and a new car. Have had to run the fan pretty consistently now. Wasn't sure if I had a pump issue or if 16v invites cavitation with these pumps. Any thoughts?

| My CSR is ancient and anodizing is faded but still works great. If it fails I will replace it with a BMW electric water pump and PWM to control it. Advantage to that is moves a lot of water, can control speed of it to warm it up faster and or keep it cool. Plus they are designed to last a long time at high water temps and are cheap. Much better solution. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/"Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. | Wow, this thread aged like milk.... All the hate and discontent and I'm just over here with my 28 year old Moroso belt drive on a Weiand aluminum pump.....any failure is easily replaced at any auto parts store. (Phord truck blower motor, standard SBC long water pump.)

| Speaking of CSR water pumps......
Does anyone happen to have one they would sell? I have been on a waiting list for a motor for over a year, and mine will be lucky to make it the rest of the year. I have the older one for BBM but the electric motors will interchange off BBF and BBC. |
