Mikey knows the equation by heart yet he can’t tell us what RPM I’m trappping now nor how much my converter is slipping.

Mikey claims to know everything when in fact he knows far less than he thinks or claims and knows nothing about my cars and their performance, other than what he has read in my posts.

All you can tell me is what the racepak tells you,you haven't even thought of figuring what the tire measures (rollout) at the stripe. If you have, you used online calculators, because it's painfully obvious you don't know the equation.

If wanna play what's my rpm at the stripe games, go figure out what the tire measures at the stripe and I'll tell you what the rpm is, at the finish line. Smile

SO Mikey is more accurate than a data logger?

Of course this clueless idiot thinks so. We have all, sportsman and pro racers alike, wasted our $ installing data loggers and analyzing the info, when Mikey can calculate all we need to know from afar using a formula that he “knows by heart”. What a moron!

The shyt this guy posts is beyond comical. Is there anyone here that takes anything he states, claims seriously? No one did at YB, despite his numerous screen names and that’s why he is here.

We are going to have to get Howie Smith there to see how fast that car really is.

I think we’ve got Howie covered Big Grin despite his car being less than 1800 lbs. going down track.

It's not rocket science, before torque converter slip and tire growth, 4.29 gear on a 35" tire is crossing 7800 rpm's at 191 mph.

It all comes down to how much rpm you are willing to tolerate at the stripe, before the concern of windowing the block enters your mind.

Which has apparently already entered your mind.

My guess is you're lying again, it's getting a 4.10 gear, bolt together converter and a tire which copes with wheel speed at the hit a little better.

At least that's the approach any experienced guy would take.

Yeah, I think you're lying again. I think BTE has lead you to do the right thing. I think they'e gonna send ya a few super aggressive stators to go a long with the bolt together converter, they're also sending you.

Before slip and tire growth with a 4.10, it crosses 7500 rpm's, if it'll still go 191.

It's not rocket science.

Say what? You're lying again? Everyone here knows you do nothing but lie.

I'll still find it amusing how many stators you'll throw at it. We'll know by how long it takes you to post another timeslip.

Did you buy one of those handle bar grips yet? that bolts to the bellhousing. Smile

Could anyone imagine.. Your biggest worry of the day being how many RPM's someone else's car is turning at the finish line.. Can you just imagine that being your main focus for the entire day..

Shouldn't you be holding your arse cheeks open for some nobody authority, who's decided to steal money from you, right about now?

Believe or not, you aren't the topic of this post, your compliance to BS from officials is, your cowardice, your natural tendency to not stand up for what's right. Smile

Update...

Was .025 slower in 60 foot and .05 slower to 1000’ with the trans and converter swap despite the new converter flashing only 150 rpm less.

C1550 is at least as good as the BR3 it replaced.

Racing rained out for today. Testing will resume on 5/16

Much better than last week. With the higher temp and DA, most were running the same as last week.

Old converter and trans is back in the car.
