I have mega 475 delay box and I use the spool function or stage 5 as the starting line enhancer.
Intermittently it will not go on the step 5 and go to launch rpm even tho the delay box is set correctly. I have tried two different delay boxes.
Is this a software issue?

Doesn't the mega box provide ground and not power might need to check wiring for the Grid?

The 475 outputs are all +12 volts.

The PB inputs are all Ground except for the Line Lock PB which is +12 volts.

In Grid, IGNITION TIMING STEP RETARD 5 tab, what is the Engine RPM programed to?

I have step programmed to 3000 and launch rpm at 4700

So now I have changed the grid module, Shielded with ground the green wire to the delay box. It still does it. Has anyone had issues with using the micro style trans brake buttons. I have replace that also. Thought maybe it was that style of switch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do this. Attach your laptop to Grid (engine Not running) and select the Rev Limit Source in Monitor tab (right side). When nothing is activated, it should indicate Maximum. Then whatever you use to activate the SLE , Activate it. What does the Rev Limit Source indicate?

Grid can show you in the data acquisition what Rev Limit source is being used and when ON, but you have to start the recording time prior to activating the SLE. Use the Burnout input (Line Lock) to start the recording and increase the recording time (90 seconds) to capture the entire sequence of Rev Limit Source events.

What mode (Bracket or Pro) is the SLE set to? What is the SLE time programmed to?
