How's the new wheels, Bubger Kurg? Saw you making a big stink about it over on class racer with no intention of hitting the track with them until the fall.

No big stink NimboNoRod, only you trying to stink up DRR with your drama queen shyt. I made a big stink here on DRR on our Keizer Wheels. I could have put the cookie cutter Weld double bead locks on but decided to do something out of the mainstream.

Somebody started a thread asking about Keizer Wheels on CR. I provided what info I had & will update his thread when I have more answers to the OP's questions.

Gotta say, it is a good looking wheel. And waaaaayyyyy cheaper than a weld/billet specialty/rc comp wheel.

Glad you like them Nimbo. Wink

I'm not totally sold on the looks yet, but my boys love them. If it was up to me, I would still be stuck in the 90s with my Weld Draglite's.

As for the price they were only slightly cheaper than the RC Comps, the other wheels I was considering.

We are a week away from racing. Everything is pretty much done except: Getting a windshield & driver's window replaced, waxing the virgin paint & loading up!

We have T&T on the 27th, the final points races on the 28th & 29th. I'm in 4th place & hope to at least maintain the position; I realistically have a chance of moving up 3rd place.

I have made many changes to the car, hopefully I didn't screw anything up. It's all in an effort to make a better bracket car, some changes may work or may not.

I was out since first weekend in April and went last Sunday. First hit .010, good enough and car was right where it should be. Finished 2nd round and the rain came. I was just happy to be there. Good luck to you.

Trailer is loaded & kind of looks like the Beverly Hillbillies on the inside. The golf cart on steroids fits in as expected. There are a few items I need to place differently in the trailer. I'm also taking a few extra items I wouldn't normally take. All in all, it's not that bad. I went from mega room to having to manage my space a little better.

Race report good or bad coming after the weekend. Wink

2 finals so far, and no wins.
1st one we didn't get to run because of rain.
Last one was because there were only 2 S/P cars.
I got the R/U. Laughing Hard

Well, I don't know how I finished in points. Hopefully in the top 5, to race the Summit Showdown race.

It was hot & I believe Vegas set heat records during these racing days! It sucked & I had a sucky attitude to go along with it.

Anyway, we had some good things that came out of it, but mostly bad. I only made 2 test hits on Fri. Sat. I raced the 1st place guy & did a pretty good job of beating him. Then I went on to lose in the 2nd round.

Sun. had issues with the TPS & IAC readings, along with a very high idle. I ended up with a 1st round runner-up. The issue was a frayed throttle cable causing the whole mess.

Getting everything ready for the bracket finals next Wed.!

What bracket finals are you attending? IHRA, WDRA, NHRA?

The final points came out for the season today & I finished 4th in points.

It wasn't a great year for me & my driving pretty much sucked! My car usually makes up for my driving & it did that for the most part. While the car is working decently this year, I was chasing the wheely issues & EFI tuning almost on a round-by-round basis while racing.

Anyway, I think have a better car now! The priority now is to start focusing on my driving & put the car 2nd on the list. Wink

Thanks M&M!

We have a good decently consistent low 9.00 bracket race tune-up in it. Plus, we can run 150+ mph but aren't legal for that yet. We have accidently gone into 8's with the bracket tune & we are legal to 8.50. It runs 5.70's in the 1/8th with the bracket tune.

We have plenty of ET left in the tune but with these small radials. I think we are pushing the limits for a competitive bracket car with its current set-up.

It seems we have 100 cars entered for Vegas to make-up 2 teams for the bracket finals.

Bracket racing is alive & doing well for the left coast.
