It's so funny reading the board of experts who would do this or that and criticize all parties involved. The kid wrecked a car, owned up to it, got in another car, and walked away with a r-up and nice payday. He and his parents did what the majority of us would do if in that position. Everyone has or should have a strategy when racing. His bit him in the sixth round. The majority here that race have had a close call a time or two. Its part of the risk of racing. The kid has made more laps and won more money in the last few months than most racers have during their career.

Torqin Chris, How is Cory? Sore? How bad is the car? Much salvageable?

Kid says he is not even sore... knocked his chins on the underside of dash during the barrel rolls...other than that he says he is fine. It was a horrific looking crash from the starting line and his parents and friends are grateful he is OK. Thanks to all of you that had concerns for my son.
Car is pretty bad and will be evaluated later this week. Motor trans and center section, delay box and ignition box seem to have made it...not a straight panel or wheel salvageable...Nathan Martin is going to evaluate chassis for me.
I thought it was cool as he!! to put the wrecked car in the winners circle picture. Good sense of humor after you went through to get there.
