I believe it was the deal with the 2 seater dragster. What was the other deal with a certain organization decal or lettering on the car?

IHRA/PDRA????

https://autoweek.com/article/n...rry-dixon-suing-nhra

Pretty sad, They really had it out for him.

And what about Larry Dixon? What did he do?

He had an expired chassis tag on dragster.

Kicked him out and shunned him forever.

The fact he got caught taking out of kitty when at AJPE racing probably he nothing to with it in long run.

Have never heard anything about this accusation. Where did you hear this from ?
Larry has always come across as a stand up guy, I would be very surprised if there was even an inkling that this could be true.

Still waiting to hear any kind of proof on this. I can't say I was really a big fan of his but I don't like how he was treated by NHRA over his 2 seat deal and would hate to see baseless accusations. If it is true then there should be some kind of trail in today's world.

TD3550 I believe it was a sticker for an upcoming race that wasn't NHRA sanctioned.

So if you watch the (swat gate) video, was that not an NHRA exec standing on the other side of the car? If it was, he saw and heard exactly what went down.. I just didn’t see what ST was so whizzed about. Should there be a gentleman’s agreement before they race? He!! no! Every car and every racer has the right to take his time staging, give himself a chance and try to take out the champ. I am sure there’s the attitude that; I spend more than you, my cars faster therefore you should lay down or move over. Yeah F-orget that! Ain’t happnin!

Yes Cameron Ferre could deep stage if he wanted to and he does not have to ask anyone's permission. Steve should not have done it. But it is not that big of a deal and not sure if he even hit him at all the kid jumped back quickly. I watched Steve Torrence acceptance speech and he apologized several times. That is good enough for me. NHRA fined him what they thought was appropriate and that is good enough for me. Move on Folks, nothing to see here.

You're right, it's not a big deal. After all what would've Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory been without Veruka Salt.

We need a Veruka Salt around anyway, to demonstrate for us how not to be.

Nothing against Ed here but I've never read anything from Ed that is interesting. It's all low level drag racing info, it's kinda like the education system,,, here's all the important questions and the answers, you memorize them and that's education. Or in other words more like indoctrination than education.

With Ed, anyone who isn't submissive to the low level info, Ed then insults. If you find insults based around low level info interesting, I can see it, but IMO that's just drama. There's nothing interesting or to be learned in drama but to each his own. I have no objection to it either way however for this reason I don't read Ed. I will say at least Ed seems genuine, he's not a phony at least from what I have see, which isn't much.
