To be honest, I have lost my temper a time or two. I keep a few thousand cash in my sock drawer just in case I ever earn myself that ride in the back of a police car Smile

I've not said one word about the entire ordeal. But I find the fact that he his racing this weekend at an NHRA sanctioned track truly fascinating (in his dragster, which would require a license).

This should definitely wake the discussions back up!

JJ Pennington said in the live chat that he made a mistake announcing it. Hunter's car is there but he is not driving it.

Probably him Big Grin Poor JJ probably got chewed out for announcing him by name. I’m sure that car will be “not on file” the rest of the week lol

Felt like stirring up some drama.

Hunter Patton left lane turning the wheels during a staging dual in the 6th round to flicker the bulb.

Seems some lessons aren’t learned

I keep hearing this is legal and not an issue in big money bracket racing. You don't have to like him but you better strap um up tight if he's in the other lane.

Yes Sir, I am sure it is,but in this type of racing I would imagine all of these talented racers would pull out all the stops for one of these paychecks. Back in the day my dad ran stock eliminator for trophies and any one of those racers would cut someone's throat for one.

What’s the lesson? This is not closely related to what got him a time out.

Anyone who can find the stage beam is at zero risk of being victimized by this.

Hunter doing this is why Trey ripped the throttle after the finish line that sent Hunter into his temper tantrum

Reading thru some of the replies. It is funny that some are defending him or forgiving maybe better wording. Wondering how many are the same ones that have commented on safety rules not being enforced or no tech at big-money races?

know some have received a lot more severe punishment for a lot less at NHRA events. Not saying lifetime ban from events, but it is a pretty bad offense.

I also have a very good temper and it always works. Still never endangered someone's life because I was mad, have been tempted to quite a few times. Consequences for my actions are the only reason some are still working the earth. Now If I thought I would get a weekend in jail, that might be different. Just saying no consequences equal repeat offense.

Has to be some government subsidies we can all get if we convert our cars.

I’m surprised people were not smart enough to wheel race the Tesla.
