Long ago I likened this virus to burning a prairie grass field. You can burn it upwind slow, or with the wind fast. Either way, a certain percentage of the blades and plants will burn. Do you want to do it fast, or slow? Too fast could overwhelm the hospitals we were warned. That didn't happen in most areas. Highest risk in cities. Too slow, and you have to keep the unhealthy locked down indefinitely and suffer with constant work stoppages at places of employment forever. And any transgression like going to a damn restaurant will spike numbers. We will get to that percentage either quickly or slowly. The vaccine will not be here in time to have a significant impact on that number either way. I went to a Menards yesterday. You can't even enter the damn store without a mask. I was never closer than 8' to another person except in the check out with plexiglass between us. And the mask just irritates me when distancing is plenty. Just another reason to shop at the mom and pop stores. Menards can suck it.

Mask law went into effect Monday, everyone is ignoring it. Love it.
