Yep, that's severe Trump Derangement Syndrome.

A few on here have it too.

Smile

As if the right doesn't have Obama, Hillary, Pelosi, etc. Derangement Syndromes.

Faux News, Rush and the rest of right wing media has been working for years to create discord in America and now they have someone in the White House to full fill their agenda. A prolific liar and conman. Dear leader is always trying to blame someone else for his screwups.

Take small sips don't gulp down your Koolaid.

Why would you want to vote for Democrats in 2020?

So they can re-instate those disastrous trade deals like NAFTA and China's WTO membership that hollowed out our nation's once mighty industrial base that resulted in thousands of job losses for American workers?

Or do you want to instate the unfair military alliances that have the USA paying the overwhelming proportions of these costs?

Are you for open borders?

You want to pay more for fuel?

Stricter gun laws?

That is well said.

On this note, a great family friend went to Jamaica on the extra tax refund she got. I asked her if she understood why she got it. She did not. I mentioned Trumps tax plan and she said that was only for rich people. I asked are you rich, am I? She said no. I explained that the media left out basically anyone paying taxes will see a net real reduction in tax paid with few exceptions. I spent quite a bit of time explaining how/what taxes are and how the system works. I further explained how social security works and how it is not welfare for us but an annuity that I started paying into at 14. She is a lifelong democrat but now is aware that media is not truthful.

I wish Trump was in place sooner. I retired at 59 and paid a $1,500 penalty for only working with insurance for 2 months.

Trump is arrogant and at times over the top. I am pleased my vote counted. The list from Translady shows what a result driven businessman can accomplish. All of the prior administrations of both parties ignored what his has pushed. He did not have a magic wand but is putting us on a good path. This virus is a good reason to bring manufacturing home to U.S. and create another economic boom. The opportunity is there now.

Sadly the snowflakes do not like this? I cannot fathom the complete denial on this but we are stuck with them. Is a lot like the relatives you never invite over because they do not shower and stink like hell.

Please reread the whole article. The part about the top 20% getting 60% of the benefit and the top 1% getting 17% of the benefit. Also the corporate tax cuts and no sign of using the money for business investments. And the Repubs said it would pay for itself. At the time of the article the deficit had grown by billions of dollars. I think it is in the trillions now. It was really for the benefit of middle and lower classes, I think not.

I see it the other direction too. Speaking of logic and facts, Kellyanne says the right deal in alternative facts. That's not the truth folks.

Agreed. Anyone that claims steadfast party affiliation is nothing more than a pawn, a useful idiot if you will.

- Please learn how percentages work.
- Corporations do not pay the taxes that they remit, consumers do.
- After tax reform, federal tax revenue did NOT decrease. Tax revenue continued to INCREASE.
- The deficit is skyrocketing because the growth in spending is WILDLY outpacing the growth in revenue, in addition to the staggering net interest on the debt. We demonstrably have a SPENDING problem. It's the one thing both parties and the President all agree on: "SPEND MORE!"

CBO Summary for Fiscal Year 2019

Receipts for federal tax revenue are listed on the above document, for fiscal years 2014-2019. Please indicate which year(s) where the receipts are lower than the previous year.

Instead of regurgitating false talking points or saying "I think...", turn off the TV, do actual research, spend some time learning basic economic fundamentals, and studying readily available official reports that clearly show necessary facts. If you cannot even grasp that there are two sides to a balance sheet, or refuse to acknowledge basic facts, then you are simply wasting everyone's time.

This from the article you posted.

High earners did far better under the law. The top 20 percent of earners received more than 60 percent of the total tax savings, according to the Tax Policy Center; the top 1 percent received nearly 17 percent of the total benefit, and got an average tax cut of more than $30,000. And that’s not even factoring in the law’s huge cut to corporate taxes, which disproportionately benefit the wealthy households that own the most stock.

Surveys consistently show that what bothers Americans most about the tax system is not that they pay too much but that they think corporations and the wealthy pay too little, said Vanessa Williamson, a political scientist at the Brookings Institution who studies public attitudes toward taxation. The tax law only sharpened those concerns.

And there are other reasons that people might oppose the law, even if they personally benefited. It added hundreds of billions of dollars to the federal deficit — contrary to repeated assertions by Republicans that the cuts would pay for themselves — and could lead to budget cuts down the road. Most of the provisions that benefit individuals are set to expire in a few years, while the corporate cuts are permanent. And there has been little sign so far of the promised lift in business investment.

Lets get back on the original topic.

As per dear leader he wants people to ingest disinfectant to try and get rid of COVID-19. This is beyond dumb. He needs to stop his disinformation rallies every night and let the real doctors do their job. He and Faux News pushing Hydroxychloroquine when it hadn't been studied. Now finding out it doesn't work, it actually may make it worse. They seem to have stopped pushing it. Wonder who has stock in that pharmaceutical company?

The White House and it's propaganda networks said this virus was like the flu, a cold or a democratic hoax and did not take it seriously. In the last 2 months there are 50,000 people that have died from COVID-19. True incompetence.

This is the most crooked administration in our history. Starting with the conman at the top.

But you keep their drinking the Koolaid.

Sadly President Trump got rolled on this virus scam and still has the government trough slopping POS standing next to him every day that worked on creating this virus.
fauci worked on the virus until 2015 when he was not allowed to do it in the US anymore he sent his data to Wuhan China along with $3,8000,000.00 so the commie chinamen could perfect it!
In 2017 in a speech at Georgetown fauci stated "this President is going to face a pandemic in this term"! Apparently the self-righteous boob couldn't help bragging about his intentions!
How did the treason committing POS know this if his commie pals hadn't perfected the virus?
The President knows when the cash was sent to Wuhan! Why hasn't he discovered that his advisor was the bagman on the deal?
Our Mayor came out with a very reasonable statement on what the intelligent thing to do is the other day and is now being torn to shreds for saying it by people I thought were intelligent!
If the nation doesn't go back to NORMAL ASAP there will be irreparable damage done, may have been already!!!!!

TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!!
Later, Bill Koski
