Due to doctors orders, I am boarded as crap.

One thing I have noticed is the thuge increase of injection on backet cars, Back in the mid 80's when we started bracket racing. There was two other around here running injection at weekly bracket race and few fast guys running something like quick 8. Now days it seems almost even split FI vs carbs. Add in EFI for few.
so what would you say split is in your area?

Question:
What percentage closest fits the split carb/FI (MFI and EFI),
Can only give so many choices so pick what fits best.

It is carb/FI

Choices:
25/75
40/60
50/50
60/40
75/25

That doesn’t apply to 99.9% of bracket cars and bracket racers!

Again this isn’t the forum for you.

I would say 100% of these conversation-starter posts are just a way to humble-brag about your combination consisting of obsolete alcohol hemi parts and how you made 1/2 of them by hand.

No but looks like you like the fact. I mentioned nothing about my combo or any parts in it. But thank you for letting me know you are paying attention to it.

Everyone is welcome to an opinion regardless what liberals will tell you.

I have a simple question for you. You post a number of new treads and ask for whom ever responds for their two cents,,,, that includes Ed's BTW! But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

You also note this at the bottom of all posts and replies...............

"Your first mistake was thinking your opinion made a d a m n"

So why are you asking anyone anything if their opinions don't matter?
HMMMM

Your posts and replies are in conflict!

He’s an idiot, of course he’s in conflict. What he’s not is a bracket nor is his POS a bracket car.

most here know who the comment is for. Since there is no block button you have to let mub nuts reply.

personally, if he dropped off face of the earth the only tear I would shed would be from laughing my ass off.

Nothing about this post asks opinions other than how many fuel injected cars you think run compared to carburetor cars.

as for why ask a question. It upsets edna and that makes it worthwhile. If dod not upset edna there would be no reason for a reply on a subject he has little to no knowledge of. Now he might have idea od the percentage of carbs to injection, Posting that would be adding something, which we know he does not do.

Wide, your posts among many others(and other certain posters) are nothing but fodder. You ask alot of questions for a car that barely sees the track.

Do you go to the supermarket and ask what food they prefer? Do you do polls at Food Lion?

1320 & his friends will always follow him for some reason.I don't give a **** about his comments. I don't know him and he don't know me, but he's not wrong.

In fair reporting, I have a cutup shyt box that never did nothing and haven't raced recently.

PS: Spend the money on entry fees before buying a dial in board.

PS2: I've ran both MFI & Carb with similar results.

Just having fun! Best of luck in your racing endeavors!

Edit

PS3: This was a great site years ago with mild ball busting(15%) and good info(85%). The percentages have reversed.

Cool

My questions seem piss edna and that just makes me want to post more. I ask questions at times that I know answer to just to pull his strings. Seems to be working pretty well.

As for his follower I doubt there is enough to feel a VW.

Again all are welcome to an opinion. Although I find it hard to see point considering most say nothing about me making stuff or what my parts are from. Now when told how to do something to them that does not apply to them or possible with them. Most of the time it was about something else.Prime example this thread, the mfi pressure and fuel injector size. Non asked anything about my car.

Money for enty is not an issue and dial-in board is on the way. Then I do not remember asking for advice on what to buy or what to spend money on.

Again nobody has to click on any post that does mot interest them. Personally, I never click on carb threads for that reason.

Then your above quoted Post questions
that you are here to misspell words, use incorrect grammar, post odd inquiries or to only engage with 1320 ?

You might have done something years ago driving Alcohol FC or A/D that I have never done. Kudos to you, but you posting here is confusing for most. I'm sure there are people at your track that would help you BRACKET RACE if you ask politely.

Who said I need help bracket racing? Pretty simple. You put a number on the car. You cut a light and try to make the number w/o going too quick. I did it for 3 or 4 years before racing alky cars. Had two finals and 2 semi-final races in first two years running local stuff only. Yes no wins. Still I know how it is done.

To add a name to your ignore list, check on their name at the upper left of one of their posts. A menu will drop down. Adding them to your ignore list is one of the choices. Of course, if they didn't want to participate in the drama, they could be doing exactly the same thing to you. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Tom,

Do not worry he is on ignore and I do except when pulling his string and making him reply. Sometimes you are just bored. A block from replying button would work better.

Seems asking a question just for the exchange of info and ideas is a no-no.

Your post is rather interesting for this thread. I think Wideopen comes up with some off the wall crazy ideas and questions but I do not see it as bragging on himself. IMHO. Those posts I ignore until they evolve around to something interesting and Technical.

Almost every single thread Little Ediot starts is to brag on himself like the White Trailer thread, His truck, his motorhome or anything else he starts and many that he posts on. Then he constantly goes back to them to bring them back from the dead and keep them going. Nobody I know any where brags on himself more than the Little Ediot.

So are you saying Wideopen is trying to brag on himself and are you saying Ed is not?

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
