I thought the thread was about the crashes in Pomona? I guess not.

Speaking of crashes I got word last night that our friend Dan Bain had crashed at the fling but was out of the car and looked okay. Anyone have news on that incident?

Watched it on the feed, weird one, he was well into the shut down area (about 900ft down track) when it made an aggressive move right then left into the left lane wall (he was in the left lane).

Dan was in his roadster, which happened I believe 4th round last night. His wrecked happened about 7 pairs after a chevette crashed down track as well. The pairs between those two crashes were fine. I would assume something came apart on his roadster to make that aggressive of a move well past initial de-acceleration. The feed did not show the chevette crash but announcer was play by playing it as it was happening.

Per Dan FB, he said he got into some track dry leftovers at about 100 ft, took a turn and a light hit on the wall. He also said the chassis is OK, just tore up the front of the car. It is also now for sale.
