I pay alot of property taxes. And since I had to pay my property taxes when my kids where in private school ,they owe me. lol | |||

LOL, that's funny. But you said you don't mind if your money goes to the children (I assume that means college too). Because very little if any of your taxes goes towards higher education in FL. Do you know why? Because a couple of years ago the state decided to rely on funding from a new lottery game that failed miserably. And the universities still have to rely on income from the lottery to cover the extra expenses. This is why FL universities are near the top in the country in slashed funding, decreased enrollment and minimal class scheduling. I'm not sure how far along your daughters are in school, but keep this in mind when they tell you they need to take extra semesters to fulfill their requirements ONLY because they can't get a full schedule because the state won't come up with the $$$. If they're receiving financial aid, this will also mean that they will need to pay for useless classes just to get themselves to full-time status. | ||

Absolutely nothing wrong in sending children to private schooling. IMO they will receive a better education than from a inner city school system. | |||

Yes, they get some from football and alumni. But it doesn't cover everything. The usual state funding they used to be able to count on was replaced by risky income. (Or lack of it.) | ||
