Bob Taft , Governor and Repub. from 99-07 helped make Ohio one of the highest taxed states in the country. His approval rating if memory serves me right was around 6 1/2%, lowest of ANY governor in the history of the United States. Thats who I lay a lot of blame for Ohio's problems on. BTW, I dont care if he was a Dem, point is this state is hosed and Bob Taft did squat to help out the current state we are currently in.

By the way, the Senate Ethic Committee will recommend expulsion if the judge in Stevens case confirms the convictions in February. That's a good thing no matter what party.

Once Stevens gets the boot, it will be interesting to see who gets his seat.
