While you were learning to make fire by rubbing two sticks together and collecting papers to afford to go on camping trips, I was learning about fields of fire to cover my and my fellow soldiers six, and spending months at a time on government sponsored camping trips .. (look it up) .

Bucky, I always assume words to have meaning.. Since liberals all seem to think there is a finite amount of wealth. then to "spread/share" the prosperity or wealth if you will. Someone is going to have it taken away and given to someone else..

They did for about a year, but word has it that we have been covertly providing arms to the rebels. I'm sure we've done just as good of a job figuring out who the 'rebels' are as we did in Egypt and Libya.

Well, Obama was instrumental in getting Gaddafi ousted in Libya. The problem with that is now they have more militant Muslim leadership now. So it made an admittedly bad situation worse.
Same with Egypt, I believe the problem with much of the World is that the Muslims want all infidels (non Muslims) dead. You can not negotiate with that kind of thinking.
I do not know what to do about Syria but do not want to make the same mistakes we made with Libya and Egypt. If we can not do something to make the situation better then we need to stay out of it. Certainly do not go in there and make the situation worse.

Obama may know something we do not but the same deal I thought it was extremely stupid of Obama to promise to close Quatanamo on his first day in office when he did not know all of the top secret facts.

Anyone that wants more war(s) should be able to purchase war bonds to PAY for them. No more printing/borrowing and running up the national debt. If we can't afford it, we can't do it.
