How can any drone party maggot not see what a real travesty this deal is? We have an ongoing yet worsening situation at the boarder, bad enough he is aware of it and has requested, what, $3.7B (that's the easy part, printing press money). Yet he goes on a blatant fund raising tour and doesn't address the situation when within <400 miles. His poll numbers are in the dumpster and he knows the majority of Americans don't like the open boarder policy. Of course it's by design, he want's it to continue but there will be no photo ops that link him with the appalling situation. I've said it before, this politician makes the Teflon Don look like an amateur. How anyone can back this guy, strictly on ideology, and ignore the facts of the matter, at the detriment of our nation is beyond me. Enough verbiage, it's all for naught. Game over. President Bush will leave office as one of the most unpopular departing presidents in history, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll showing Mr. Bush's final approval rating at 22 percent. Seventy-three percent say they disapprove of the way Mr. Bush has handled his job as president over the last eight years. Mr. Bush's final approval rating is the lowest final rating for an outgoing president since Gallup began asking about presidential approval more than 70 years ago. The rating is far below the final ratings of recent two-term presidents Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, who both ended their terms with a 68 percent approval rating, according to CBS News polling. Recent one term presidents also had higher ratings than Mr. Bush. His father George H.W. Bush had an end-of-term rating of 54 percent, while Jimmy Carter's rating was 44 percent.
