Bill, seems as though there is global warming on Jupiter!! Ever since the Oval BA was discovered, I haven't heard a word about how this might trigger more intense storms!

Coleman calls global warming hysteria perpetuated by the likes of Al Gore, "the greatest scam in history."
We know what drives a megalomaniac like Gore, but Coleman scolds scientists "with environmental and political motives" for misleading the public about climate change, which is a natural phenomenon that has been recorded throughout Earth’s history.
It’s all about money, according to Coleman, who argues that a vocal segment of the scientific community "manipulated long term scientific data to create an illusion of rapid global warming." The motivation is to keep the research money flowing to find a solution to a non-existent problem.
Throw in self-serving politicians and their allies in the mainstream media and you’ve created the perfect storm for worldwide hysteria.
"Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild ‘scientific’ scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from global warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda," Coleman writes.
Coleman has been a TV weatherman since he was a freshman in college in 1953.
"I do not oppose environmentalism. I do not oppose the political positions of either party. However, global warming, i.e. climate change, is not about environmentalism or politics. It is not a religion. It is not something you ‘believe in.’ It is science; the science of meteorology," Coleman says. "This is my field of life-long expertise. And I am telling you global warming is a non-event, a manufactured crisis and a total scam."
Coleman’s comments have not been reported by the mainstream media, but have been making the rounds in the blogosphere. The story also caught the attention of NewsBusters, a Web site devoted to exposing and combating liberal media bias. But over in the mainstream media, NBC sent "Today" show anchors to Antarctica and Greenland and broadcast shows by candlelight. It’s all smoke and no fire, according to Coleman.
"Their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmentally conscientious citizens," Coleman said. Only one reporter at ABC (John Stossel) has been allowed to counter the global warming frenzy with one 15 minute documentary segment.
Coleman says he and other global warming skeptics will be vindicated in time, but the world, and the United States in particular, will have squandered precious resources on a "manufactured crisis."
"In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious," Coleman says. "As the temperature rises, polar ice cap melting, coastal flooding and super storm pattern all fail to occur as predicted everyone will come to realize we have been duped. The sky is not falling. And, natural cycles and drifts in climate are as much if not more responsible for any climate changes underway. I strongly believe that the next twenty years are equally as likely to see a cooling trend as they are to see a warming trend."
Coleman still works as a weatherman for KUSI TV in San Diego.
Anyone who still has an open mind about the global warming hype should arm themselves with the facts presented by Coleman and stand up to the environmental fascists ... before it’s too late.

That varies, but it is roughly .01%. A good indication of how important the CO2 level really is. .01% should tell you that even the smallest change can be harmful.
You're right, I came up with .01% as a ballpark figure because I did not know the exact numbers. My graph proved me wrong, but as you can see from the graph, it has been at least 50 years since it was below .03%. Current levels are .0385%. I don't see anywhere on the graph where it is higher.
Since the graph is almost linear, the increase in CO2 is probably due to more socialist, liberal kooks in the area expending hot air, why hasn't there been any appreciable global warming since 1998??????????? If they don't hurry and get some drastic measures in place pronto they are going to have to switch to global cooling before they ruin the worlds economies!

I admit I havent had the time to check the links out JJ like I usually do. I do know thier are 2 sides to a story. But we all know if a $$$ is to be made then anything in the media is pushed like a mo'fo. I cant trust much of what anyone has to say nowadays.

Avg Nashville home reported 1,300kW hours up to 1,625 kW hours during the same time period. So what's the sq.ft-age of an average Nashville home?
That's funny. My house is all-electric, and I use about the same kWh per sq.ft. as Gore's all-new wind/solar/geothermal masterpiece, and I'm not all that energy-efficient. Gee, can I get a Gold star, too?
When the Gores' heated pool is hooked up to the system later this month, their energy use is expected to decline more, his spokeswoman said.

Even the ultra left-wing kooks are jumping off of algore's band wagon with alarming, for algore, frequency as of late! National Geographic a few days ago and today a story in the fatally liberally biased rag nyt both relegating man-made global warming as a myth! National Geographic went so far as to point out that other planets were warming at the same rate the earth did, no warming lately, and they can't find evidence of SUV's or coal fired power plants on the other planets, not even any hot-air spewing socialist liberal kooks!!!!!!!

Comparing other planets is like comparing apples to oranges. The have different, if any, atmospheres. They have....... why even give examples. Each planet is so different it is literally impossible to compare. Some planets do not even have solid matter!
It's funny Bill, for the longest time you sit here and say that it is impossible to compare the past because instrumentation was inept back in those days. You also sit here and say that the year 2007 will ONLY be in the top 10 warmest years and not the HOTTEST because of literally tenths of a degree. Yet you take their word for it that they can accurately compare the temperatures of planets millions of miles away. Seems to me you're just exploiting statistics only when it benefits you.
