Ed,

Absolutely! Really glad to hear this from you.

Nice trailer. Happy New Year and good luck in 2018.

COPO’s seem cool although I’ve never laid my eyes on one in person, But my thoughts as follows: build you favorite oval port engine but as a Super Stocker and keep the white car. Keep all your current stuff and be able to race NHRA events with your son. Purchase some kind of killer S/S top end somewhere and let Huntsville do you a short block.

Appreciate the comments. Several friends have told me that while the COPO is cool, they feel my Firebird is bad ass and a better car for several reasons including that it's on 14" not 9" tires and just as quick as the SC COPO.

Really never had interest in racing the firebird in Super Stock despite offers from several racers over the years to partner up, with them providing a class legal engine.

My son will be done with racing sooner than latter. He is all about starting his career and life and racing isnt part of it, at least not racing every weekend and with him pursuing an intership that would start June 1, he may not be competing at any divisionals in 2018.

If I go forward and order the COPO, both the Firebird and dragster will be for sale.

Mike Pustelny who built my Firebird as well the COPO prototype as well provides all the aftermarket parts for every COPO, knows these cars better than anyone and has given me advice and his honest opinion.

That's too bad...seeing he did the winning in the family. Is your kid going to be a intern for Chuck Schumer?

You don’t order a COPO, it’s a lottery draw.

Wrong p u s s y you do order a COPO after you have been selected and accept the opportunity. Spitting

Those that accept chose the dealer, chose the color, chose the engine and chose the graphics.
