Present tire sounds like a good tire combination to me. Even the Hoosier 18245 or 18235 (both stiffwall) would be equally as good imho.

I love the PBR's & I think that's a good choice! While I haven't ran the Hoosier bracket radials, I think that would be a good choice also.

I ran the Hoosier 14.5W x 32 DO5 for years and went to the MT 3074 14 x 32 3074 and big improvement. More consistent, quicker 60 foot and et and it worked over wider temperature range. I also ran the 3974S with good results. Both of those were on a 1750 Lbs altered so with your door car may be a little different.
