I was just cruising down the road with my ac on, it was blowing cold air working really good. All of a sudden it was blowing hot air. As I got to investigating it I found that the compressor clutch is not cycling on and off. It won’t charge me on at all. I tried using contact cleaner to clean the two electrical connections on the compressor and no help! Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?

Most common problem on a Ford is worn compressor clutch and too much air gap. I don't remember the exact spec but it is adjustable, do the google. The 5/16 (8mm) bolt in the center holds the clutch plate and it slides right off. BE CAREFUL as there are shims in the plate that go between the shaft and the clutch plate and that's how you adjust the gap, the 5/16 bolt goes through the shims, just small washers. Quick hack is with the truck running and AC on tap the clutch plate with the handle of a hammer, just tap it enough to close the gap. If the clutch engages tighten the gap.
