Rumors say Jegs heads are Profiler castings. I've seen many of them being used. I bought a pair of Promaxx but haven't used them yet. Others have used "white box" heads from Nickels Performance and they worked great.

Brodix Iron Killer. I am pretty sure (not 100%) that Summit and Promaxx heads are Brodix copies in the 200cc. I have also heard, as Eman stated, the Jegs are Profiler copies. ATK heads are made in the USA and are another option for a Profiler copy with stock exhaust location.

I have used the summit heads before. I will say the looked identical to a set of brodix ik200 heads I had at the time. I was very happy with them. I now have a set of promax 225cnc heads that for what I bought them for I don't think I could beat them.

There is a reason that Speier Racing Heads has so many nuthuggers. It's because when it comes to sbc heads, there may be nobody better. I don't know if his prices are within your budget. But he delivers a great value.

EQ heads (Engine Quest) - a new copy of GM Vortec Heads, but comes with screw-in studs, and can be ordered with the older valve cover bolt pattern and intake bolt pattern if you prefer. Believe they are cast in Australia or New Zealand. Got a new set assembled and shipped to my door for $800, with 64cc chambers. My engine guy said they were just about the nicest iron castings he had ever seen.

You can do a search and read all about them, basically they were originally intended as a legal head for circle track racing in the midwest where rules require stock GM castings. They even come with a GM casting number and are legal in those racing series.

Thanks guys..

To be clear, the Jeg's and ATK are Pro-Filer castings. Same as you get just branded with their logo. ATK's do have a stock location exhaust port.

This car dipped in the 5's N/A in a handful of runs with a set of out of the box Brodix T 1's with a Bullet camshaft under 700 lift I bought from an old friend I knew from back when he was with Lunati. 23 degree 3.875 x 4.185 sbc 427 I bolted together in the back yard with some old parts I had laying around. Regular ****, although I did use shaft rockers on it. I think Brodix 23 sbc cylinder heads are way underrated.
