New unused slicks that have been sitting indoors stored about 2 years. Worth using?

If they haven't been sitting with the weight of a car on them, and/or exposed to the sun, I'd use them.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Some teams age them a year or two. Seasoned? There is theory saying older new slicks aren’t as aggressive as new rubber.

I had a pair of Goodyear 6303 radials that sat in a leaky trailer, flat, for over 9 years, and with a new engine, converter, and gear put up the best runs the car ever made. Turned up the 2-step until it scared me, Eek then turned it back down 200. Laughing Hard
