I'm assembling a new dragster I had built and I'm trying to decide on if I should offer the chassis for sale with a glide or not....I have a shortie ATI and a full length Hughes .... the shortie would require a 24"-25" driveshaft and the full length trans would take a 3"-4"....OR ... let the buyer worry about it? This is a 6.0 cert car I had built for TD.....No tracks out here anymore so I'm building a street rod. Don't need the dragster now and don't want to put more money into it just to sell it.... . Dave I presume this is a hardtail dragster. Is there a tail shaft mount for the long shaft transmission? With the full length transmission can you use a straight short coupler? If so that would be my choice. Bruce Lee ![]() Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

IMO since going to have driveshaft either way I would go with short shaft if selling with trans. Since rarely get everything back on racecar I would not even put a trans in it unless just needing to get rid of one. America home of free. Brought to you by 2nd amendment.
