Plan on going through the car to tighten every bolt on the engine and drive train after every race or every other race.

Make sure your water pump is on whenever you check your coolant level.

Why, do you use a certain burnout rpm? This is meant for everyone.

I do a high gear (powerglide) burnout for a 3 one thousand count at 4,500 rpm. Why, I believe the little to no load on the motor during the burnout is not the place for high rpm. I don't know whether that's right or wrong but it's why I do it.
