Thats it, much, much simpler than a carb.

How the heck did you pick up 5mph 1st round and run the same ET?

I believe that was a misprint from my wife.

Mike, do you use a PP plate with your Toilet? Air cleaner? Pump, pill, nozzle size?

Yes, both of my cars have Ron's Primer Plus systems. I have a K&N scoop with filter on the roadster. I don't remember the sizes of my pill or nozzles. James always helps me with the first tune, then I adjust from there. The other awesome thing about injection is I can (and do) adjust my barrel valve to slowly build heat at an idle, but start cooling with the fan on.

Neither of us are saying one is more consistent than the other, the slips determine it. By example.

First four laps with a Bo Laws methanol carb and this is with a factory condition Nova with a front and back seat delete, on a 10" cheater slick.

If you wanna dissect a topic or issue, the evidence must be dissected. Pretty simple concept.

There shouldn't be any emotional investment in deciding anything. It's black or white according to the evidence.

Impartially speaking to evidence my claim, It's safe to say as an example, Rupert methanol carbs have won more million dollar bracket races than any other induction.

It's black or white according to reality.

Objectivity through rational thought.

Anybody ever notice that little mikey keeps posting the SAME old timeslips with the dates, times, and car numbers hidden, saying it's his? Just like the log book pic.....just times, but no proof he actually ran them.....

Claiming another mans timeslips as your own, is almost as gay as a track official inventing a story to put a racer back in race and in the final round, forty five minutes after originally declaring him loser, and that's pretty damn gay.

You're projecting yourself on others. Here's proof. I'm sure Mike Nitzsche can prove his logbook as well, if he wants.

The topic is methanol induction, carbs nor injection know what year it is, or care. If you have slips from 1971 to make a point on consistency on topic, it'll beat the hell out projecting your gay idea's on others, for proving a point, off topic.

As usual, you miss the point. Things change year over year. What might have worked then, may or may not work now. You can't compare what happened 8-9 years ago with now. Carbs and metering, while basically similar, have changed. Injection has changed. Tune ups have changed. Why? Because engines have changed. Better heads, cams, etc....more precise metering for carbs, higher pressures for injection, all contribute to this. Your argument about that's what worked then is invalid. Offer PROOF of recent performance, YOUR CAR, and I'll buy in. Otherwise, showing the SAME OLD TIME SLIPS, SAME OLD BS just shows your ignorance. That's all you have, old timeslips. Until you have something to prove you've got the same results NOW, you add nothing other than your old claims that you continue to recycle.........gets old Mikey....

Offer proof, new is better. This is a Bo Laws carb with brass metering blocks. Bo Laws stopped making brass metering block carbs in the late 1980's, early 90's.

Good luck.

Mike Reitoe, The old brass metering blocks! Like in Brass! Like what a Trumpet is made out of? Like what the old radiators were made out of? Just busting your balls Mike as too I won alot of money with those Brass metering blocks that were on my BoLaws carbs, and I still have one left its a 4150 style. Guy in you neighbor hood,Tim Butler turned me on to BoLaws in 1992 at a race here in southeren Ohio. Ordered one on Monday and I think I got it by Friday. Bolted it on and worked great. Im going by memory and I think it came with a power valve in the front. Then 3 years later started running their Dominators. Also ran some Ruperts and others thru the 90s and in to the early 2000s.

Yep that's Tim, always willing to lend a hand, and a part if you really need it. Big fan of Tim's from back when he drove the Playground South cars. There was another guy at Sunshine he would battle, both in a lot of final rounds, the guy drove a small tire Chevy II at Sunshine they called "You Get No Change". It was a factory condition car on a small tire in Super Pro, and dominating. That car is what really opened my mind, to the idea of Super Pro bracket racing. I never intended cutting up my Nova SS, for big tires.

Timmy is having a helluva year in Super Pro at Immokalee, I've been following a little to see if he can match my 13 final rounds on 21 entry's in 2008 at Sunshine. He's close, and that place is tough.

I still have my brass Bo Laws carb too. All the pieces are prestine clean in a bag. I could put it all back together no problem. They work great!

I figured it was worthy of mention, for the next guy who comes along behind me.

Not everyone bends over and takes it in the arse without a peep, like Curtis has made it clear, he would. Smile

I could get the slips out, but I didn't think anyone would call me a cheat so it was easiest to just snap the log book. Oh, and this was me driving my roadster on Labor day 2020.
