The clutch showed no heat in the plates as we figured it has too much base pressure at the launch. We took 20 lbs. of base pressure out. We also had a little slippage on the 3-4 shift & we added 15g of weight to 3 of the lock-up arms.

Next weekend we are headed to the track for the 1st TnT & some time slips.

I decided to make a rear gear change for testing on Sat. All testing so far has been done with our 1/4 gearing, 1.94 final ratio. Seeing we shouldn't have any wheel speed at the track, I'm going to start with a 2.06 final ratio.

We'll see how it goes!

Ultra slow motion is what helped me the most on the GTO. V500 has every sensor but the camera is priceless!!!

It was a pretty good day of testing with the quad this past Sat. We were .2 slower on the ET than I was hoping for a baseline.

The clutch was a little loose & showed in the 60', but I'm sure the street can't take much more. We are going to test at the track probably in Feb. or Mar. & add some base pressure for track testing; we should be able to get into the 1.30 range at the track.

We started with our 1/4-mile final gear ratio of 1.94 when testing in Mexico. Sat., we started with a 2.06 ratio & it was a bit too much rpm. The next testing will be done with a 2.0 ratio & should put us in the sweet spot for rpm thru the 1/8th.

We couldn't get a good plug chop the way the track was set-up today, but I'm pretty sure we are still fat. We did lean out one power jet on one of the cylinders. It was running fatter than the other.

Change of plans with the drag quad. The Kingman Street Drags are cancelled for this year!

We are going back 1/4-mile racing with the quad. We are racing it this weekend for 2 points races.

I changed the final gear ratio to a 1.84, something we have never used before. Hopefully we can get it off the starting line without bogging! It should run in the low to mid 10 second range, not that it really matters for bracket racing. It has been 9.7-9.8 with my lighter son on it.

The 1.84 final gear ratio didn't work, it was bog city! My tuning gave us a 1st round loss on Sat. We changed back to a known final ratio of 1.94 & went to the semi-finals on Sun. It did manage to run high 10.40s @ 119 mph with my 290 lb. 6'3" son, brick wall on it!
