Curtis, I am her primary car taker. A role I would not have chosen but to my Suprise, I am doing OK with it. She has lots of strikes against her and with each set back, that is her new normal.

I have been able to make some Vette progress.

This is an off the shelf Hedman header for LS swap. It is a perfect fit, what a nice surprise. 1 7/8 tube with plenty of room everywhere.

I spotted this on Amazon when shopping for casters. Stand by for the results.

Rhino cart

New frame rails 3" inboard of OE frame and old frame cut away. This allows a 30 x 10.5 tire. Although I could mount the new frame more inboard, I want to challenge myself to be competitive with the 30 x 10.5 tire. I want to learn those lessons.

Earlier pic showed cut factory rail you were going to reinforce. I guess you changed to going further inboard with new rails. I'm guessing pre-bent or do you have a bender for that?

Eman, many times [most times] my projects evolve as the process takes place. I had the frame rails on hand from another project and once I had the OE rails stripped down, I decided it would look cleaner to use the one piece, formed frame. Plus, doing so gained a 1/2" inboard clearance. It is still a work in progress. The final will be a clean, functional fit.

I understand the "evolving" part, I was interested to see how you were going to do the rails cutting them like you did.

Foot, no, conventional headers. Hedman builds a very nice LS swap header that fits great.

Progress is slow just now, but it will pick up soon. The roll cage kit arrived Wednesday from Auto Weld Chassis.
