If have another intake you can try. I would try another and that should tell you if intake or head. If heads worked with previuos intake then it is the heads.

What does not fit about it? Does it seat but the ports are no aligned? does it not totally seal around ports like top hits bottom does not?

Thicker gasket pushes it higher and can cause port not to line up with runners does not take a lot either.

Same heads gaskets? Thicker gaskets will spread heads more too. Different animal but on my deal a .020 gasket change makes a huge difference.Chevy not as extreme but a difference.

Do the ports not line up or the bolt holes? Both? If the ports line up just slot the bolt holes. If the port are off and a thinner gasket isn't enough to align them you going to have to have the manifold milled. Set the manifold on the heads with no gasket. If everything lines up you'll know you need to mill the manifold whatever amount the gasket you're going to use.
Good luck with your project.....

How do you know he only needs .030" off the manifold? It could be .130"
I understand you have no idea how to build engines so let me explain, you can't always just buy something and bolt it on to fix an issue....sometimes you actually need to turn a wrench...or have some mechanical knowledge at least...both talents you are seriously lacking in.
Amusing to see I'm still living rent free in your head....

As usual, you're a liar and a bullshytter......you try to peddle him a different gasket when he says it fits best with NO gasket...PLUS HE never SAID what DOESN'T FIT...BOLTS OR PORTS........you really are an edIOT HUH?
Maybe you need to adopt another stepson to do your reading for you. Man you can't drive a racecar. you can't read a racecar forum.....you're in shyt shape

Just FYI, Flat out gaskets makes many different port configurations and thickness manifold gaskets
