Why would I travel 3000 miles to swat an unimportant little insect like you? I'm having more fun just living life inside your melon sized head...
Now if you were to come out west of the Rockies I'd be glad to come race anywhere you were watching your stepson racing....No racetracks left in Calif so I'M taking trips like that anyway....

Just FYI, Flat out gaskets makes many different port configurations and thickness manifold gaskets

Steve the o/p said the ports line up best with no gasket. The only thickness gasket that will work for him as things are is a zero thickness gasket. He needs have the manifold milled .060 and run a normal, easy to find, .060 intake gasket

Nor of ports but whatever. Y’all can go back to arguing.

“Maybe” a thinner gasket and or a little port matching with a die grinder and sanding sleeve is all it needs. Having to do some port matching is pretty standard when fitting a race manifold.

Sure. if his engine isn't all together and he's not just trying to bolt the intake on, he could disassemble the heads and lower the intake floor and raise the cylinder head port clean everything back up and use a .030 gasket and hope that its thin enough. Not to mention the bolt holes may be an issue now.
Just mill the intake .030" or .060", use the matching intake gasket, bolt it on and go racing..

Appears it may be the bolt holes ,seems the threads are lower not sure if these heads ever were milled .

if the ports align with a gasket in place just grind/slot the manifold h0les. If it's very close to working you can just drill the manifold h0les the next size larger and use small OD AN washers

When I put the intake gaskets on it seems like the bottom of the manifold bolt hole sits right at the bottom of the bolt hole that goes into the head.
bolt will barely start then stop, Even tried a Edelbrock RPM Performer intake and had same problem could this mean that the heads may have been milled at on time???

Way back when, I had a brand new set of Iron S/R heads in 64cc chamber, not knowing that they used 76cc casings flat milled .135" to get to 64cc, yeah, it caused some intake fitment problems.
Not to mention that the factory accessory drive brackets also no longer fit.

Whats your gap on the end rails when you set the intake on it, no gasket?

Is the intake perfectly flat on the intake surfaces of the heads?

Goob asked a couple very good questions....

Answer his questions, hopefully the manifold isn't sitting on the end rails. Lets make sure whats happening there first. If you have a gap on the ends we can move on to figure this out so you can go racing lol...
Most important is for the intake and cylinder head ports line up. When we (you) get that to happen everything else can be made to work.
If you sit the manifold down on the heads with no gasket do the ports line up?

Wrong SCDIV1 and I proved that misaligned ports effect performance exactly ZERO on bracket engines making at least 700HP.

Again, since you don't know how to build engines, call any of the motor builders you burned through and ask them if they send their engines out with significant port misalignment.
If theres going to be grinding, milling or drilling going on with this guys manifold, why not try to make everything correct while it's being done?
It's amazing how stupid you are...

It’s not amazing how clueless you are but it’s no surprise as you are neither an engine builder nor bracket racer, just a hack that had a balancing shop with a terrible reputation.
