13 pages so far and nobody is impressed even with Retiow trying to blow his own horn.

But if there is anyone impressed Please feel free to speak up, now is your chance.

Anyone?

Hello!

Just what I thought.

Nobody but Rietow thinks it is a big deal.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

It's only a big deal if you make it one.

It is what it is.

Brodix 23 sbc is faster than AFR 23 sbc out of the box

You're jealous

Jealous.....LOL....I couldn't run that slow dragging my parachute.

Appears to be the only fuzzy 5second slip you have

You're jealous because you couldn't do it 3200 lbs factory condition muscle car, much less with your own two hands engine, transmission, ring & pinion.

You're Jealous.

No I'm not buying a 3200lb(2900 maybe) to prove that my stockblock 23* headed monster would outrun your highdollar turd.

Show some 5second slips without making excuses poser boy.

I did it off the trailer as I promised I would, in a handful of runs.

Once it was done, it was done - old news.

You are Jealous.

It's only a big deal if you make it one.

It is what it is.

Brodix 23 sbc cylinder heads are faster than AFR 23 sbc out of the box n/a 3200 lbs.

May have been covered but hell 14 pages of replies
According to Wallace calculators, 6.20 at 3000 equals about 610 hp. While not dead accurate w/o a dyno sheet it is a pretty good SWAG.

I said it would dip in the 5's before I went to the track, by what the observed torque converter stall told me as soon as I bolted the engine in the car.

I Never dyno'd the engine.

It doesn't really matter though, it's minutiae/trivial because there's not another example of a 3200 lb factory condition muscle car dipping in the 5's n/a with a sbc, out of the box AFR 23 degree cylinder heads.

Brodix Track 1's are fastest, it's just a matter of fact. We're not racing dyno's.

I'm tired of hearing about these AFR heads being faster, it's not about impressing.

If you had my sbc Nova, you'd be tired of hearing it too, knowing otherwise.

It's another of many successful hoax's in America today - AFR are faster than Brodix Track 1.

It's simply not True.

The day I started this thread a guy I know told me he was gonna disguard a set of Brodix 227 brand new he's never run for a set of AFR's because another guy who's never been fast either told him AFR's are faster.

Of course not when the track 1s have been massaged with the welded intake.

Takes 770 ish hp to run 5.90 at 3200lbs. Out of the box track 1s. My math isn't adding up. No, I'm not jealous, I'm wondering what your secret is.

They are the CNC ported version. He just says out of the box so people think they are as cast.

I think Ed called it secret sauce in a bottle...lol

That car doesn't weigh 3200lbs and those heads aren't OTB except from the headporter.
He can claim all he wants but his one fuzzy time slip doesn't hold up

2017 - First to the 5's 1/8 mile 3200 lbs factory condition muscle car n/a 23 degree sbc, with out of the box Brodix Track 1 heads.

Here we are 6 years later and you still can't provide another example.

Jealous
