Wondered what water temperature should be after 1/4 mile run the to drive back to the pits????

Our home track is in Las Vegas, NV. we race during the middle of the day to late afternoon. During our hottest days 100*+, we usually see engine temps in the 170* area & never gets over 180*. We run a ProCharged SBC on 100 UL pump gas.

I try to stage my car as close to 160 as I can. Also turn fan off at pre-stage. Turn it back on when I get on the return road. Only time I've gone over 170 is when the fan quit turnin...
