Thanks Paul but I regret to inform you that it appears the joint on the 2nd step on pipe #1 and possibly on pipe #3 has a "booger" Didn't think of that so per the internet experts here your headers are junk and the guy that welded them who has been building headers for 2 decades is a shoemaker.

So I see after 10 years of the village idiot telling people to build their headers only from max horsepower ( which they don't make anywhere near what they think they do ) forsaking head design , vehicle use , weight , transmission type , gearing , power adder , class , etc , it seems that when it comes to his own ... just like everything else he has to have someone else do it for him . Mild steel at that . A fella's gotta start somewhere I recon .. Razz

Special Ed .. gives "Internet advice" and it's worth everything they pay for it .

Yes Special Ed. Moron would be correct . Besides your lack of header knowledge , I pointed out the simple flaws in that roached out dragster and that picture was quickly replaced ... MORON that later ... Cool

Moved
Oil burnin
Rim ridin
On to
Narrow margin where flaws are harder to see

that's pretty realistic. We figure stainless is basically double. Flanges cost almost double, bends cost almost double and purge welding takes way more time then welding mild steel.

Back to my new step headers built by Greg Holman aka REF Unlimited in Kingman, AZ.

Workmanship is excellent and Greg gave me more plug access to the #8 plug I wanted and they look great thanks to Gene aka Central Connecticut Coatings.
