If placing transmission in neutral immediately after run, do you neutral transmission and then turn ignition OFF….or…. Do you turn ignition OFF and then neutral transmission??? What say you?? This is PG transmission. | ||

I put it in neutral as soon as I lift at end of the run. I do not turn the engine off as I want to keep pumping fluid to bearings, bushings, planetaries and I want the hot oil out of the converter. I would rather just have the engine idle vs pulling down against the converter. | |||

i kill engine first but not always.i do like the braking i get from the engine,i might bea ways in shutdown,but i watch oil pressure and use that as a gauge thank you, president Trump | |||

Blown Top dragster I killed the engine for obvious reasons. Chutes, neutral, ignition. S10 I leave it running and coast to the end of the track barley touching the brakes, as soon I make the turn and off the track I drop it back in high and idle to the time slip booth | |||
