Now that is a fact right there. I raced this year and plan to next spring---not as much as when I was 30 but as much as I want to.

I spent Saturday with our youngest son Brian (42) and one of his sons' racing their "Top Fuel" quality go cart at Perris (Ca), had a blast, this thing is a faaariggin rocket! Their 2026 season is already underway, my season starts in February, and I'm all fired up ready to go!

Bob

ps: If carting is your bag, Proper Form Racing Team are the folks to contact, Robert Proper is the best in the business. (Sorry for the shameless plug).

Good evening y'all. Car is running again. Only 10-15 minutes to get heat in it and insure the leak is ok. Seems as though #7 exhaust held onto it's lash this time. Planned to run it again today, but didn't get that far before my dinner bell rang. New timing light got here today as well. Spent time in the shop organizing a few things, making room where it's needed and setting up my pops old record player so I can play the old Christmas records. Listening to a couple this evening brought back memories from Christmas's long ago in their home. Old stuff, Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Sammy Davis jr, and many others. Played them 24/7 during Christmas seasons, 1970's up through their passing a few years ago.

Y'all talking about age and such, I enjoy getting around the folks who've been around longer than me. Always a good story or twelve to hear and often times learn from.

Hope you're all having a great week and staying warm out there.

I have a wheelchair ready and waiting in the shop. Think we donated my brothers walker after he passed, so that may be on a wish list sometime in the near future. Think I'm gonna head out to the shop and fire up pops Christmas tunes for a bit, sit & stare at the car... Have a great evening y'all.

OK while daughter was here we got the limbs all picked up in the yard and installed 4 new lights in the big part of the garage. Cut down that 60s era satilite dish in the back yard. Installed a new faucet in the motor home shower and got everything in there prepared for the cold coming. Went to Lowes and got a new ( what I call) a senior commode for the back bathroom. Dropped the F150 off to get serviced. Took her back to the airport then I was in Durham till last night. Plan is to install the commode today. 28 this morning. Everyone stay safe.

My son is a Pearl Harbor baby.
It’s a good reminder of history.
Happy Holidays to all DRR folks.
