Just get you some!
Just lay down time shot packages Bro.....
Keep your packages under .020 and takes what comes your way.

Good luck and safe travels!

Well guys, I'm live from the Spring Fling Million!

I got parked this afternoon & settled in for a relaxing night. Going to have a couple beers & some sleep aids.

Tomorrow is our only time hits, starts at 10 am. Not sure if they are streaming them or not. Pro is usually always 1st out. I'm the red 80 Camaro, should be running 5.7x with small tires & a 6" cowl hood.

Good morning from the Spring Fling Million.

It's heavily overcast & appears to be rain in the surrounding area. It's also pretty breezy & supposed to get windy later in the day.

Nothing to exciting today, I hope to get 2 time runs.

The live feed started a couple pairs after me, go figure.

Not a bad 1st hit, but not great on the light/.032. The new trans with the 1.80 1st gear affected my launch a little & 60'. The car ran 5.71 @ 124 mph.

I'm done for the day. Not happy with my lights .032 & .040. I have one shim I can add to the button for. 005 quicker. I'll probably add that for 1st round tomorrow morning & see what happens. I did see a lot of red lights in the Pro class.

Tonight I just have some light preventive maintenance to do.

Having some reheated pizza in the air fryer tonight. The air fryer has been a great addition to the trailer. Plus, have couple of barley pops. Big Grin

Do you think the trans brake in the new trans is slower?

Big, the 1st thing I do is point the finger back at me. That's why I'm making a small adjustment for first round tomorrow.

I'm not ruling out the new trans. The transbrake is the same as the old trans. The main differences is the 1.80 strait cut gears vs. the old 1.76 helical gears. Both transmissions have been dyno'd & they were identical. All be it the old trans had lots of runs.

I'll add the shim to the transbrake switch. If that's not enough, I can add pressure to the front tires. As a last resort, I have my pro light switch I can use.

Hopefully I can get through the 1st round, but have a buyback round if needed!

I looked at the data logs & found I've lost about 150 rpm of flash stall with the 1st gear difference.

If going 1.72 to 1.80…. more SLR… less stall?

I went from 1.40 (7.20 slr) to 1.56 (8.02 slr) and lost 75 -100 rpm in flash with same DA weather. Yours doesn’t sound right. In same Data Altitude today as prior DA recordings? Same tire size?
