When we were NA our low side 2 step was set at 2800 most of the time on the radials, off the transbrake. With the supercharger we leave at 3400 on the full tree & 4000-4200 on the .400 pro tree. 2BKING ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3100 lbs. I stand by allusive but would be fine with elusive & illusive. I should have used all 3, that's why I'm the Brain. 2BKING ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3100 lbs. Pump Gas 436

Below is the link for Tex racing at Sydney Dragway. He's racing a green Plymouth, don't know the model. He's running in Super Street; it's a bracket class. His 1st run is 1 hour something into the vid after an oil down. I saw 2 qualifying runs & 2 eliminations runs before the stream ended. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fMqXxFCVGg 2BKING ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3100 lbs. Happy Saturday y’all. I’m at Rockingham for the CCRA races this weekend. 1st round clown showed up again in my driver seat. LOL. Been living in the Red Light district today. Another rookie mistake, not considering rollout at an unfamiliar track. Last time I raced here was late 1990’s, so anything I knew about this place is out da window…. A friend mentioned rollout and I knew exactly what I’ve done. My home track is far looser compared to here. Gonna fix that tomorrow, I hope. Car has been great. Getting noticeably higher wheels up launches. Hope Tex is going rounds down there… y’all have a great weekend. William Kilduff 1970 Barracuda 1968 Camaro X2 1968 Caprice 1964 F100

morning . Wrap up from Saturday . BKing thanks for the link , yeah the day kind of kicked off with early 1 hr oil down and never caught up . I run a 68 Plymouth Satellite . At track champ rounds we qualify off reaction time , I ended up @ #7 with 0.014.Class is no box so can be a jag a light in qualifying . I went wanting to try transbrake again and improve tree but the Gyear didnt quite catch it 1st qual so it was back to foot brake . Plymouth was screaming with a 10.32@130.38 then 10.315@130.37 in Q2/3. Then a few more delays. DA went from 1200-1700s-1100s E1 then to mid 800s for Q2 . E1 was battle of the yank tanks with Bruce in his 66 4 door Belair against me . Bruce was looking at the clouds as it felt like I left before him , 10.56 - 10.32 dial for me . Yep a .306 light . So a W for me . E2 I was matched to a 10.09 dialled nitrous sedan . Well fast doesn't guarantee a win . As an aside i often run right with lane choice so people think I cant run left , oops . Dialled a 10.31 . Kaching ! 0.037 to a 0.111 and they never got close . !0.372@124.08 for the win . OK back to the tower for 1/4s and a mid 10.80s car against me . Another delay with a modified dragster . Dew is pretty obvious on car roofs by now . Racers called . Meet is done , too much / heavy dew track braking area is no good . So decent result for testing for Winters . I will run MT PBR then , though we have 72 cars in class they will be close to done afterwards . Tex

Happy Sunday y'all. Rockingham race recap shows,,,, driver still has lots to learn... Fridays test session was worthwhile and gave me some good info. Using a new digital Longacre tire gauge which reads consistently about 1.5 above the old Jegs analog unit. 1st pass, I set pressure at 13, which was 11.5 on the old one. I typically run 12 by the old unit. I hosed my staging routine. Did burnout in 2nd gear as usual, and failed to go to 1st gear when staging. 1st time doing this. Realized this as soon as I lit the stage light. Scrambled real quick and got into 1st gear without issue, but was big time late with reaction time. Spun bad, but stayed in it so I could go through 1/4 mile and see if the fuel delivery issue was fixed. Pretty sure that's fixed, but there's another problem that may have been there along with the fuel filter issue. Between 1000' and 1320', it's breaking up like I'm on the rev limiter, but still 1000rpm below the chip. Tach bouncing all over the place as well. That's new. Looking things over, nothing obvious. Next pass, Dropped tires to 11, .014 R/T and car hooked hard. No idea how high it got, but when it set the tires down, front end wobbled like a drunken sailor for a short bit. Stuck with it and shut down after 1000' without any issues. 6.19 ET and happy with the result, other than the front tire shimmy/shake. Jacked car up, and I can't force the wheels to move, aside from rolling front or backwards. final test pass, same tire pressure and left at 6600 vs the 6200 before. Little bit of spin, bad bad red light, otherwise decent pass. Saturday, I unload the car to find a flat left rear. Aired up and it's losing over 1 pound in under an hour. Good thing I brought the new spares. I had planned to leave them home, but packed them at the last minute. Stroke of luck there. 1st time run, I hosed staging again. My opponent wasn't pre staged yet, I rolled in and double bulbed him, unintentionally. I looked over as soon as I realized it, damm lights came down while I'm looking over at him. Nailed it when I realized my green was lit and he was timed out red, spun and knew I was tossing this run. Had a 2.31 RT, LOL... At least it's green, right? Not really a major thing, as it's time runs and he was able to stay there and get his pass in, but a little embarrassing nonetheless. Rode over and apologized. Nice fella, no harm, no biggie. Dash for cash next round, I go -.041 red, but car hooked good and no tire shimmy/shake. 1st round eliminations, I'm -.015 red, car runs great, no front end shake again. My opponent was runner-up for the day, so I kinda felt better about being a loser. LOL. Spoke with an experienced friend who tells me the rollout is very tight compared to my home track, so I make a plan to fix this. Today, 1st time run was dash for cash. Dropped front tire pressure from 35 to 27. Made sure to sit and wait til 3rd amber is lit for sure, -.026 red light. Dammit, my plan sent me backwards, LOL. Had 12 in rears and spun bad anyway, so red didn't really matter. Sitting at trailer and damm if I don't think of a great idea. Adjust the daggum clutch pedal for longer throw. Moved the home brewed adjustment bolt on the pedal about 2 inched up to allow a longer stroke and guess what.... It worked. Dropped rear air to 11.5 also. 1st round eliminations I leave at my usual point and I'm .0144 green to opponents .0413. Car hooks harder than it has all weekend, comes down and front wheels shake again. Starts clearing up, then gets way worse as I'm going into 2nd gear. Shake clears up, but I'm thinking more about the shake than anything else, go way above my shift point into 3rd, brains are scrambled and I short shift into high gear. Missed my dial by a mile or more. I Have a name for a longtime racer/front end guru fella that I'll be calling to see about getting the car in for alignment and any other front end needs. My brother had a very reputable guy work on it when he brought the car home and has new ball joints and bushings from then. When he and Robbie tested and worked out the kinks in 2013/2014 they were wheels up and no issues at all. Somethings gone haywire I suppose. All in all, I still had a great weekend. Met some good folks, had great conversations, learned a thing or two that I can hopefully apply to future races. Y'all have a great week.
