I've seen both.

Driver got timed out and had a temper tantrum and got out of his car. He danced around like a little girl until he got back in his car and made a pass with no helmet or belts.

The second would be the racer that was so angry that he lost. He gassed it on the turn off, flipped it and ended up in a swale full of muck!

I do not condone what happened, I just think it was funny as hell. Kind of like "the sh1tters full,Clark" kind of moment!

At least no one could have gotten hurt due to his actions.

I had a guy get mad at me because I didn't get mad when I lost at bracket finals, one year.

Any word on whether there was any punishment? Someone else mentioned the lack of safety equipment, I guess that's not a problem. Did notice car has plenty of stickers on the left side of the windshield so he must be a big leaguer.

He is 100% in the wrong, never should have turned a bulb on without checking his dial in. Any issues should have been addressed afterwards by the racer going to the tower to plead his case. He was disrespectful to everyone at the track with his antics, in addition to looking like a Hugh Jazz.

I'd expect a suspension for him as well, for taking the cones out, plus not using the helmet and seat belts. And he 100% deserves it.

So with all the comments saying once you PRE stage you accept the dial... I've had an experience where the other car and I were PRE staged with the dial in correct on my side and I assume his was correct and my box set accordingly, then while we were staging the dial in on his side changed. This tells me one thing, that the computer is not locked in when you pre stage. Therfore there should be no reason to use the PRE stage as the lock point checking your dial in, because...... the dial ins could still change.

In my case the round was rerun because there were many witnesses and video and we had a great track manager that saw it happen and was expecting me already when I came up to the tower.

The point of this is that you can't say PRE stage is the lock point for accepting dial ins, when the dial in could actually change after both cars pre stage. Period
