It's gone up more than just the new tax. A little profiteering maybe?

Welcome to the Biden economy.
Not only are fuel prices here more than $1.20/G higher than the day he took office, but if you think about the fact that EVERYTHING we purchase has been transported by truck, and trucks use fuel, this is just the tip of the inflation iceberg. A beef brisket at the local Costco, (they only sell USDA Prime grade), has ranged between $2.99-$3.99/Lb for several years, (usually $3.49). Last weekend they were $5.99/Lb. Double what I paid for one a month ago. I passed on it.
Go on, sleepy Joe. Shut down some more drilling permits and pipelines. Make those lunatic enviro-extremists feel warm and fuzzy, and take the praise heaped on you by the socialist mainstream media, (while you are actually increasing pollution and risks of oil spills, by making the same oil travel in thousands of rail cars and trucks every day, instead of an unmoving, highly monitored pipeline). SMDH.

Is that not the way of the Democrats, thinking that solar, Wind, and electric cars are better. These new tools we’re just opening up the already bleeding wounds and false promises they will fix all of our problems, when in reality they are creating some thing a whole lot worse .

HAVE THEY CALLED US YET ? THEY HAVE!!!

$4.99 (for one gallon of regular) at our corner Shell Station this morning. That will no doubt raise the cost of VP Race Fuel.

What really raises my chip is that our Government SUBSIDIZES the gas Companies with billions of dollars every year.

As if they didn't make billions every DAY!!! It's probably to cover all the Politicians they have to pay off.

Dictator Biden had a promotional deal where he said this 4th of July holiday our Celebration dinner would be 16 cents LESS than last year! Bull! No way. Where do they come up with that Bull? Who makes that stuff up? Who is stupid enough to believe any of it?

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

HR's prediction is probably pretty close. Back when B&W photography was dominate it was cheap and the new color was expensive. But as color became dominate that flip flopped. Color still being more expensive that the old B&W, but the dwindling B&W became more expensive that the high volume color.

Used to be we could always count on fuel prices going up at March Meet time. Now it seems to be when the democraps need more taxes.

My story. Had motor home in tire store and across the street diesel was $3.19---went up the road 5 miles and it was $2.84. Took off for Bristol and at Wythville, VA it was $3.39 so I passed on that. Today left the track and filled up for $2.99 and 2 miles up the road it was $2.89. 25mi up the road to Wythville, 3days have passed, now every station was $3.45. The thieves are making a killing.

Left southern California Friday for Woodburn Oregon. $4.26 for diesel in So. Cal., crossed into Oregon (same day) and filled up for $3.35. That's 91 cents difference. Better roads and better air in Oregon. Gotta love Governor Nuisance.

Gas prices have fluctuated with the markets, fluctuated with the current events in the Middle East and fluctuated under every president and like everything else over the past 43 years since I’ve been driving, fuel is more expensive today. It is what it is. No one stops driving, no serious bracket/class racer stops racing due to the price at the pump. It doesn’t effect the daily life of 99.9% of the people in this country.
