Perhaps some racers did not pull for it to fail but had enough common sense to know it was unsustainable and a proven record of poor decisions along the way cemented the fact that it was on a collision course with disaster. No amount of benevolence cannot be overcome my losing millions of dollars with no basis to regain the capital outlay than liquidation of properties. Stick a fork in the "nitro" series.

I really tried to watch that the other day and he was taking 30 minutes to tell a 3 minute story. Could only take so much of that mindless drivel. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. The part I found really interesting was when Wes Buck talked about Cuttel trying to buy Wes and Drag illustrated. When Wes said no thanks Cuttel got pissed and then he stole some of his employees by offering to double their salary. Dude is a definite snake

Buck summed it up when he said he hopes people he talks to about sponsorship and advertising don't google drag racing. Wonder how this will play out for the bracket end. I see World Finals are in November at Galot.

I think Cuttrel had good intentions when he bought the IHRA or he would not have thrown away millions of dollars on it. Nobody gets rich or stays rich by throwing money away, they use their money to MAKE them more money. This whole deal with IHRA has been so crazy, taking on all kinds of new stuff, "Buying" tracks then not really buying them and the hiring and firing of people is a red flag. As for those people who he hired for double the pay I think Wes said most of them has came back and he took them back. Which is good they are not on the streets now. My opinion for what it is worth has been exactly the same from the start. I hope IHRA grows to be bigger and stronger than ever. But I think the way he was doing it was Too Much- Too Soon and was concerned that they bit off more than they can chew. It does look in fact like they bit off more than they can chew. This is one of those things where I wish I was wrong. Last thing I want to say here is I told you so. The reality is a good business man will cut their losses on losing business, you do not keep throwing good money at bad. Some have blasted Trump because he bankrupted 6 businesses, to me it just proves how smart he is. His businesses have made billions and billions of dollars and gave tens of thousands of people good jobs. Not every baseball player hits a home run every swing, not every business makes it. You close the ones not making it. May have been a great idea but wrong time, wrong place, wrong team we do not know but you cut your losses and concentrate on ones that do make money. Now it looks like IHRA is in a bad position, are they going to cut their losses? Personally I thought the Nitro series was a mistake from the start. You can not beat NHRA at their own game, concentrate on sportsman's racers and if you add classes do it slowly and build them up. Plus they announce all IHRA will be 1/8 mile and they are going to do Nitro classes? WTF? This whole deal reminds me of one of the NHRA's biggest mistakes. They rammed the Pro Stock trucks up us when we did not want them. They were a joke at first because they had trouble getting down the track and limited teams and was not great racing at first. Well soon the class started getting better, faster, more popular and competitive, they started getting good sponsors and spectators then they shut it down. One other benefit was they started doing head and intake development on Small Blocks and in that short time made big advances. I think that was huge mistake for NHRA and IHRA made similar mistake with all the classes they were bringing in, snowmobile racing, mud trucks or what ever we do not care about. When you bring in classes like that you do it slowly and in a way they are self supporting and help the big picture. All comes back to first impression that he was trying to do too much too quickly and that is a recipe for failure. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. From what I was told by Anderson and his dad is freinds with the man, Monmey is not really the issue. From what I was told he makes more than that ton a day or business does. Now if somehthing killed his business and the way he has been spendiong cash I guess anyone except Musk cpould run out. Eiher way everyone I have talked with said he was doing everything he could to make drag racing better and racers better off.Hopefully they get everything worked out and reboot. America home of free. Every one has said money is not an issue. I find that hard to believe, you do NOT get rich by blowing money. When rich people spend money they do it so it will get a bigger return on investment in the future. You have your money making you more money and working for you. Even when they do Charity it is for their own benefit as a Tax break. Do not mean that to sound bad it is smart making your money work for you. I do hope he is doing it to make Drag racing better and hope he is quite successful at it as he is in business. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. Word on the street is Elite has bought all of the equipment. Maybe someone can confirm this. I think it is pretty chitty the man has not said anything. I really thought it was going to make it. I held out for a while until i went to a race. I have never been treated better than at an ihra race. The man owes everyone a statement at minimum. ep

We see it happening and most of us are not surprised we have seen it before. The things I find strange is nobody who is rich throws away money. And when they take a gamble on something they do it with such a small amount it would not hurt at all should they lose the gamble. Looked like this guy went all in and went bust. I just knew he was trying to do too much and too quickly. Yet we all hoped he knew what he was doing. This guy acted like those poor (stupid?) people who just won the lottery and blows it on new cars etc and then a year later they are broke and can not pay the taxes. They do not know how to manage their money or their control their spending. That is not how rich people work. And he "Bought" all these tracks up. Did he really buy them? Someone said he has missed payments, so he is RENTING them? I have tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt as I want IHRA to succeed but there have been red flags here from very start first time I heard his name. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability.
