I keep reading people saying IHRA has been sold, but no one saying who bought it. I read the Freeman article, and it seems as though someone else did, or is/was set up to buy it. Apparently people thought Freeman was the new owner, but obviously not, given the article.

I'd wager we have heard the last of any direct communications from Darryl Cuttell. At least with any connection to the IHRA. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

There have been a lot of rumors and it has been confirmed that Darryl Cuttell wants to sell.

This is going to be hard to do. I thought from very start he was spending tons of money on stupid stuff. He will never get any of that money back making it hard to sell IHRA.
I knew he was trying to do too much- too quickly and bit off more than he could chew. As much as I would like to see IHRA become as big and popular as NHRA it will not be done overnight and it will not be done by bad management. They will always cater to different racers needs. Embrace it and grow it. IHRA will never be Top Fuel professional racers and NHRA never has cared much about Sportsmans racers.

At this point some of the rumors have been proven true so I think he should come out with a public statement saying what his plans are now on how to deal with it and move forward. Will he come out with a statement? Who knows, this guy has done some crazy stuff.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I do not know what to think about him. Nobody I know that is rich got that way by blowing money. There were red flags from the start with this guy but I hoped it would work out.
