Tell you what edna I will run my mechanical skills against yours. Winner takes all. Now understand that means a car that you build not that you buy. Running an engine you built, with a transmission you built all in a car you built. Feel free to use stick welder.Me I never used one, they are not allowed on real race cars,

Either put up or STFU.

you've already put your mechanical skill on the line, pun intended and failed miserably! Laughing very hard

You get no merit badge, no that a boy in bracket racing for "building" your car

no mind your POS FED, which is not a bracket car, cobbled together with used up hemi parts from an also ran former alcohol fc and junk.

The vast majority of bracket racers just the boss here, buy their bracket cars from professional builders NahNahTounge

So if I have put mine on the line and you have nothing to put on the line that means? you have nothing. Otherwise, it should be easy for you to take the challenge.

By the way you do not get a all hel11 intended) it is the great check writer edna.

Back on topic. I have raced everything from a 17 sec truck to a 7.20 dragster. I used to take my daily's down to TnT them on friday nights before our local track closed. Stick shift, automatic, new cars, old cars, suvs, it didn't matter.

As far as bracket racing, you can drive whatever you like as long as it fits the rules for the class you run. I like innovators and think it keeps our sport fresh and going in the right direction.

extremely sensibly and well put. I'll race anything with wheels, as long as I get to go and compete!

I see class legal Stockers entering bracket races all the time. I even see ones running manual transmissions doing it, and doing quite well. No, can't say I've seen that on Motormania, at any big buck bracket events, but still...

This past weekend I saw a car that I was sure was purpose built class legal Stocker. And then I saw the permanent designation/number on it. It clearly said "Mod", which is the designation for Footbrake in these parts. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.
