While ours is not a street car & runs way under the S/ST index. I'm hoping to start playing around on the keyboard & see how much I can slow the car down with timing/fuel & with no throttle stop.

Does this window licker have any other qualifications besides being a mediocre racer? I've looked you and him up and neither of you are blowing my hair back.

Also Bubger Kurg, You can try to slow one down like that, but I can tell you that is a fruitless endeavor. I've never been able to slow mine down a meaningful amount with timing and it still be remotely consistent. You've just got the wrong kind of hot rod for class racing frankly.

You guys are delusional.

You all are like the chick with daddy issues that keeps going back to the same abusive partner saying "I can fix him". You get sent home with a black eye over and over by these sanctioning bodies, but you keep going back.

I hope IHRA is different, but how long can we realistically believe this guy can lose a quarter million dollars a race before he realizes it's a lost cause?

You only race where it's unsanctioned?

I race all over, some non-sanctioned, some sanctioned. I'll occasionally go run some NHRA stuff too. I'll go because I believe it's the most fun kind of racing, but I'm also not out to try to save or re-invent it. I'm here till it folds up.

Thank the lord I work for a living, I don't think I've ever broken even at an NHRA race and I've won a few.

I doubt Nimbo No Rod even races & if he does, he's probably a 1st round duck or if he's lucky a 2nd round loser.

I personally like 3rd world tracks, NHRA or IHRA & probably in that order. I don't care; I want to race!

Nim Rod, I believe your being very kind when you say the new has lost a quarter of a million at each of the first 2 races.

True, it's probably a lot more than that. The purses alone for all of the categories from TF to Stock is around that quarter million mark, then staffing, food, equipment, streaming services, fire/safety (if you can call it that), and a host of other things.

Not to mention both races have gone into Sunday where they did not charge admission those days.

I will say though, the streaming has been top notch and I have watched the coverage from both races. My only complaint thus far is Tommy Johnson Jr is insufferable and the two chicks they have doing staging lanes and finish line interviews clearly had never been to a drag race before the first race in Ohio. It was painfully obvious.

I also like the streaming but like NHRA.TV way to long a show. I wish both would do a condensed hour to a hour and a half show on Monday or Tuesday that I can sit down and watch the whole thing
