Chris got in the short lines today also but ran into my friend and 2 million winner Jeff Verdi I think round 7. Not a bad lap.

Nothing but Fake Facts from our delusional Keyboard Racer EDiot; his jealousy takes over through his non-factual dribble onto his keyboard. I've won more rounds of racing this year than EDiot has in the past 4-5 years combined! NahNahTounge

My car isn't blown up or even broken. It's ready to be unloaded out of the "never" trailer & raced! Wink Laughing very hard

Chris did a good job with a dead on door car and some great RT’s. Very Tough racing by all, and anyone can win if they get the right opponent at the given time.

Liar, the fling is the biggest race of your pathetic life every year despite being a 1st round runner up more often than not but you are not competing there, you didn’t compete in the million again this year either as you stated you would, no different than every year. Spitting

Did anyone notice that almost all the dragsters were running Mickey Thompson slicks including today's winner Dillon Hough?

Also his dragster has front strut suspension.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Saw that. It’s because the MT is more consistent across varying track conditions and temperatures, which is somehow what this thread is actually about. Oh and they’re smoother in the burnout too.

There're way too many REAL FACTS in this thread starting with cold track temps, ending with the M/T slicks & of course all the REAL FACTS in between. EDiot is going to be starring in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest re-make/re-write, from his mental meltdown.

And I am sure you could hear the buzz of air compressors running throughout the pits to keep them full of air Laughing Hard

Looked like about 90% of the dragsters there were running MT slicks. Mine do not leak and it is not a big deal even if they did. I am able to operate a compressor if I need to.

What is a big deal is that those guys like myself run what ever tire they think gives them best chance to win that race.

Performance is the number one consideration for me when choosing tires. And from my experience on my cars MT tires have worked much better across wider temp ranges than other tires.

WE must forgive geography knowledge as the announcer didn't seem to know how far Verdi from VA was from CA. Those at the end didn't seem to have much knowledge of anything...And who on earth was doing the live web cast? Where was the Motor mania bunch?

It was not the West Coast Bonus. It was the "Kyle Seipel Never Give Up Award presented by Ivey Hutto's Golf Cart Sales And Service as the Division 6 (or 7) driver to go the furthest in the Million main event."

Schmall currently lives about 70 miles closer to the west coast than I live from Gulfport, Mississippi... and I live in Ohio!
