Nim Rod, i got to admit i needed a good laugh and you supplied it. That was a whopper of a story of IHRA buying WDRA. I also did hear from my 3rd cousins sister in law, brother, xwifes son whos step child works as a janitor at a racetrack said that kenny told him him they are buying NHRA also and combining all 3 together IHRA WDRA and NHRA and bring back ADRL. Kenny will then pay back all the racers he still owes money to. Lets see you top that one. Maybe there is a reason IHRA pulled Larrys PRI videos down as it was all BS. You don't meet someone 3 days earlier and put a multi year and million $$ deal together that fast. Then step away days later. Only to hear days later that Larry had already build the new owner a promod and was building a 2nd one. Didn't know you could build a promod in 3 days. And then Kennys big announcement was an apology they jumped the gun on getting detailed info out.. Anyone in the industry knows you can put a deal together that fast. Be interesting to see when the smoke settles what really is the direction of IHRA. | |||

I was pulling for Kenny, most of the people commenting on social media still don't know why people were upset at him in the first place or what the real story of that ADRL deal was. I raced one ADRL deal and it was worst ran deal ever. Kenny Nowling was there at that time, I do not know if he was the announcer or what but his name was all around. They would run a pair of cars and then announcer (Kenny?)would talk a few minutes. Run another pair of cars and more talk. We had lots of cars and they were barely running any cars down the track. Then at 5:00 in the afternoon they decided they were going to take a one hour break??? WTF? So after the hour was up and we were supposed to go back racing we got a short light rain. About hour or two to get it ready to run again. Now we were racing again and announcer is telling us about him swinging in a tire at his old home in Georgia and the house was at the end of a road down on the right hand side of the road and on and on about stuff nobody cares about. Then he sees someone down on the starting line stops racing AGAIN to sing Happy Birthday to them. Run two more cars and we got to listen to him blabber some more. People were going up in the tower and asking if they were planning on running any cars here. I think that was the race we won and it was 7:00 in the morning when I got home. Stupid. The track manager came around and we said something to him, he said "Sorry man this is not our deal, they lease the track and are running this sh!+ show) By the time that idiot shut up I never wanted to hear his name again.
