How many race promoter are using house cars to recoup their purse? How do you feel about this new way of doing business. I don't think many Casino would stay in business if they had three players at your table,playing against you? I can't say how many. It happens. From a practical standpoint....nobody is getting cheated. Still mono on mono. You can win the race one round at a time regardless of who is in the other lane. The promoter is taking a gamble on the house cars as well. Now from an appearance standpoint, it doesn't look very good. Most people have some reservations about it. Foxtrot Juliet Bravo | |||

Here’s what I posted in the recent “Why all the B!tching and Crying” thread and still stand by this……. Take all the house cars and line them up nose to tail in any one lane. I’ll be the first to get in the opposing lane ( L or R I don’t care) to run them. If I can’t beat a house car, how would I ever expect to beat someone that refused the offer to be a house car for an event much less a racing business car. | |||

That would be house truck for some.lol Seriously,I'm just looking at it from the economic side,you have to pay for your entry and buy backs and they don't, the owners use your money to compete?yes. you don't care who is next to you but your chance is chance of winning diminishes with all the buybacks.My two cents. | |||

House cars don't bother me in the least...anyone who worries about who they line up with has lost already, in my opinion...I run my race no matter who is in the other lane...who they race for or who sponsors them does not change the fact that they must still beat my package...just sayin"... | |||

If there are "house cars" that get an unlimited number of entries and buybacks, that pretty much reduces the paying customers' chance of winning pretty drastically. Mike | |||

The part you guys are leaving out is if promoters are paying entry and buybacks for house cars and the house cars don’t do any good then they loose even more money. I don’t care who’s in the other lane or who paid their entry, if I don’t do my job then they are most likely going to win that round. | |||

I'll let y'all in on something, the only way for the operator in the tower to affect you is by missing the dial in. As for the promoter, IF he has some control over the number of buyback cars, there could be some decisions made that would NOT in any way effect the outcome of the racing, but could put himself in a more profitable outcome. I disagree....once an extra car is added in if that car should not be there, it affects every pair after he runs. Every body after that point would have changed the car they would have been paired with. That would drastically change the outcome of the race. The Pull-Out....for when you want to work smarter, not harder!!! | |||

I believe (but could be wrong) that house cars are probably double entered and they will receive buy backs for either or both entries if lost first round. On SFG Flier it states in the rules car and / or driver can only go down twice per round. Perfectly fair for the house car following rules. If you have 700 entries in a race and if all the first round losers entered the re-entry round, there still will only be 10 rounds of racing to win. If 20 of those 700 entries are doubled house cars (10), it changes absolutely nothing. | |||

I have "heard of" some racers being on a house entry and one of their own as well, this could play a role in split negotiations if a racer still in is on a house entry, he may be more likely to not split, or not. ?? Let's work on our reading comprehension skills a little bit. I didn't complain, nor did I b!tch about anyone winning. I stated fact. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other, because I have no interest in "big money" racing. I don't race for money, I race because I like to race. Multiple entries, buybacks, and races that take hours and hours to run one round sound like pretty much a circle-jerk to me. From a financial perspective, you're better off buying lottery tickets.
