Really cool. I would think this a candidate for some Mickey radials. Beard has about 3000 runs on his. Okay maybe closing in on 400.

It started life as a 6.1, 370 cu in. It's now 420" .010 over, +.500 stroke

I do have another 420" engine build in progress, it will be much more " appropriate"..........for bracket racing.

I changed to the single plane intake that's in the pictures from a dual plane and upped the launch RPM.

That's what I thought too. 9.5# in that picture, I have since gone up to 10#, but also raised the launch RPM 800....

It's got non-adjustable stock type rear shocks-LOL

I'm up against the chip on the trans brake.

A very inexpensive shock- Rancho RS 9000 work great. Just make sure you get the length correct.
