It's simple.
The Dems (System Suckers) out number Repubs (working folks) almost 2 to 1.
These people don't care about the economy and actually want the cost of living to go up so they can get a RAISE in their FREE Food, FREE Heat, FREE Rent, FREE Transportation, etc. etc.

If I was getting everything for free I would want to keep them in power too.
Heck, Connecticut just INCREASED (October 1) the Food Stamp money to $939 per month.
And don't forget the EXTRA FREE $3000 per kid, per year from the Fed.

This is why ALL the voting comes down to the large populated cities (democrats) in every state.
The rest of the state makes NO DIFFERENCE and are just also rans.

It really doesn't make a difference anyway because even if the Repubs take the House, (No way on the Senate and will probably lose 1 since Fetterman (Dem) took the seat that WAS held by a Repub -- Toomey) they won't be able to change a thing because they have no power/majority.

So moral of the story is if you work and pay your own bills you WILL be paying more for food, heat, electricity, gasoline, diesel, etc. Get used to it. The majority has spoken and this is what they want (FREE STUFF).

That Fedderman guy winning really shows it's a lost cause out there.

Bottom line is that there are some rough days ahead for this country.
And I didn't really realize until last night,but Trump is wasting his time running in 2024.No way he can win again.
The censorship of news of big tech combined with the advantage on mail in voting will never be able to be overturned without serious reform.

Gen Z voters are starting to sway elections to the Dems in a large way. They vote overwhelmingly for the left and Millennials were already leaning left.

I'm glad to still live in a demonstratively Republican state but it's only a matter of time as Boomers and Gen Xers die off.

To see Fetterman and Hochul win and Kari Lake lose blows me away. Those should be a sure thing, Hochul said she did not care about crime in New York it is not a problem, Fetterman is lost in space. Kari Lake is sharp, good sense of humor and tough as nails. Those are the very same States that had massive voter fraud in 2020 and it looks like it still may be going on. It defies any and all logic.

At least there was a few races where common sense Won, In Texas Beto lost again (3 rd time) and in Georgia Stacy Abrams lost again (3 rd time). Maybe those two will go away for good now. Why was it even close with Stacy Abrams? WTF?

That said, I don't concern myself with things I can't change. It's no surprise to me or most that live and work here that Hochul won. NY is never turning Red and neither is NJ.

If you don't like the politics in your state MOVE to a state that aligns with your beliefs. That is what Millennials and Gen Zs are doing and that is what I will be doing when I retire.

I just turned 60 two days ago. Kemp(R) winning the gubernatorial race here in Georgia keeps me in a pretty good situation until age 64, at which point I can and will move wherever I want, as stated above.

Ironic as hell that anyplace with voting count problem is democrat run. Amazing. Amazing that mail in shyt is always what makes difference in vote count.

I believe this PROVES that Biden was a legit win. Because IF they would have cheated to get him in, this would have been a land slide election. God help our country...

The R's ran some real crap candidates where anyone decent should have been able to win easily.

That being said, in the big picture, winning both the House and Senate resoundingly would've been the ultimate trap. Democrats have already set up December to be yet another massive spending spree. Trillions more get dumped into the economy, continuing to fuel inflation while the Fed on the other side "has to" keep raising interest rates, which crashes the economy... and then they say, "SEE? Republicans made things worse!" It was always a catch-22. If it weren't for the fear of an unrecoverable collapse, you'd almost want to say "^%$ it, here. Take the keys." and watch Democrats burn everything to the ground with no one else to blame. The problem is "There is nothing so permanent as a temporary government program." We've already GONE off the cliff. All we've been doing at this point is managing the speed of the fall.

In FY2022, Democrats spent $6.272 TRILLION... $1.9 Trillion MORE than pre-pandemic levels. They only "cut" $500 Billion in spending, most of which was covid relief, unemployment benefits, and PPP. The only saving grace at all is the Trump tax cuts, which generated a record revenue (again) of $4.896 Trillion, up $850 Billion from last year (+21%).

If they just would've copied the 2019 budget, we would've had a $500 Billion SURPLUS, and we could have LOWERED the national debt for the first time since 1957.

There are proven instances of fraud tied to mail-in ballots and drop boxes. If you choose to ignore it, that's on you. France did away with mail-in voting years ago because of monkey business surrounding it.

if conservatives can't win in a landslide as ch!tty as things are now they will never win.

Republicans have to think about who they elect in primaries and try to elect someone who can win. Who can get the swing votes? Who can pick up some minority vote or women’s votes?
