You must love it. Keep complying and watching TV. The administration ain't the problem, it's the complying that's the problem, the pillow biters. I told ya two years ago this was gonna happen. |

| At this rate, the last drag strip left standing will be the only deemed a historical landmark. Sunshine Dragstrip. Guess who set all the Super Pro records there, dial'd 6.39 or slower? THE RIPPER |

| Mike, it’s not that easy. We have grandkids here, elders and lots of family. You have a wife? Kids? If not you -don’t understand.

Floyd, I think history will show we grew up and lived in the sweet spot of America's history. We are all self-centered to one extent or another, and I'm no exception. It's interesting that it's one's hobby/passion that really pushes people to the brink. Not the sovereignty of our nation, not the commandeering of our education system, or the point of no return of our debt, or relentless printing of our fiat currency, politicization of our intelligence agencies and military, propagandizing of our news outlets, et al. No, incrementalism in those areas are accepted, it's not until the thing that keeps one distracted is infringed that it becomes serious. JMO

| I started in 1957 at the Air Force base in Tucson. Raced in CA, (lived in Santa Anna) Spokane, WA, Texas, Oklahoma, Then came back East. 1/2 the tracks I have raced at are no longer and more are going away. One thing for sure was that nothing EVER stopped me from going to where I wanted to go or leaving where I didn't want to be. I can travel to see family and since I have several marketable skills I never worried about a job. Life has been good and very few things I would change. So if you don't like it where you are do something about it. I was at the track today and could go tomorrow if I want. I do what I want to do and never wonder why I did it. MOVE! |

| I am dam lucky I think but as long as I can I will keep going and doing as I want most of the time. Saw a bunch of old friends yesterday at Farmington, the warm weather brought them out. But today, those pretty big old Oak trees in my yard have deposited leaves it seems a foot thick. So today I will attack that--MAYBE! But first I have to get the race car back in the garage. That thing was dead on yesterday. 3 passes all the same to the third number, 6.6076, 6.6074, and 6.6079. But driver is still not so hot but hey, I had fun. Oh, I towed up there with my F-150 and the Featherlite open trailer. That mess towed better than anything I have ever had, 70mph on the cruise control and 1 hand on the wheel. Couldn't tell it was even there. Everyone stay safe. |
