Hey Bill, I see you on Facebook but miss the tech you used to post on here. Good luck on the retirement.

It's really great to read some of these posts. I never really posted too much but always liked this forum. I really haven't raced much since 2010 when my partner passed away. Just wasn't the same after that, so I sold the race car to his nephew and he takes it out once in awhile. I still drop by often and check it out. Like a lot of others, I do miss some of the info and tech that was posted.

Great thread!

I always loved mixing it up with the gang over deep staging.....was sure fire way to get things going.

Kind of like the tire debates these days. Tip PC

I'm still around.
Decided to take a step away from drag racing for a while. I did it so much that life got put on hold.
The only bracket racing around here now is big money 4 day events.
The days of going to the track Saturday afternoon and getting home late Saturday night or early Sunday morning no longer exist.

Drag racing is supposed to be fun.
Being at the track for 4 days 16 hours a day is no longer fun for me.

I have 10 grand kids to keep up with now.
Ball games, birthday parties, and family functions that got skipped for 15 years.

I'll be back one day.
I still help folks through facebook.

I still check in from time to time. Spend my winters in Florida and my summers chasing D-1 Super Comp points. Still answering chassis questions but most of the time it's thru Facebook. Check out my Hookdaddy Motorsports page.

Does anyone remember the guy who was a lawyer and had a pretty red dragster? Maybe from Texas or Indiana. I think he started running top dragster with it a few years back. Haven't seen him on here that I know of. Sometimes posters from here pop in my head and I wonder why they disappear?

Curtis

A few disappeared because of some others that are not around always causing a bunch of BS,name calling crap and they just figured too much crap.

Hopefully they will come back. Its a shame the real contributors where run off in such a manor. I know my lil brother left after cpl post for similar reasons. He is less confrontational then his older brother, probably good thing.

It was Matt something, from Indiana. I just looked at points for a couple fast dragster series around there and don't see any Matts. Good one!

I too remember the dial-up days on Perfect Run (Still have my perfect run jacket) and the early days of DRR. A lot of you "Bafoons" helped me work the bugs out of my junk way back when. I guess I'm more of a troll these days, I keep up with the postings on DRR and see a few of you on Facebook.

I used to love the Mason-Dixon race where several of us from Perfect Run would meet up for a weekend of fun!

Ed has a 4 link altered. Between the kids running juniors and baseball, I don't know that he has been out to run much. He also had great taste in beer.
