Screwing the taxpayer with high energy prices, caused by illegal activities on Wall Street, meeting a deaf ear in the Whitehouse when complaining was heard from the population, DID NOT aide their case in getting a Republican elected. Bush could have at least came on TV and said that he was looking into it, and ALL he could say was that he did not realize how high prices were.
