Should be a very interesting news week. lol

Quoting John Cornyn is like quoting a mynah bird. He is absolutely the dumbest ass to ever live. Politico, ass kissing, nobody.

Find a better source. He is no better than dirt.

Anybody have problems with Duckworth who is a double amputee returning vet????????

Reid made a good call and as a Majority leader, he can do that.

I guess my Father who took a bullet while administering aid to a wounded soldier could have run for President and won when he was done his service. Roll Eyes

I agree with Dave!

It's just like you far lefties to be playing some type of card, now the sympathy one. Roll Eyes

Also, why is Reid meddling in state business in the first place?

So you're using a sarcastic remark to imply that not every wounded veteran is qualified to be president? Huh.............. But when I posted this cartoon a while back you guys spent days tearing me a new one. Funny how the interpretations change depending on what side is telling the story. Sounds like another right wing one-way street.

I was tearing you a new one????? I think not!

The difference between my sarcastic remark is that Ms Duckworth has NO legislative experience, plus the fact that she recently lost an election in her own state.

So much bad news for the socialist donkies it's hard to know where to start!
It turns out the Secretary of State nominee got a gigantic windfall of taxpayers loot for somebody who immediately turned around and made an enormous donation to her hubbies piggy bank charity, NO quid pro quo there???????????
Next we have the esteemed Governor of New Mexico withdraw his name for Secretary of Commerce because he is embroiled in the midst of a pay to play scandal, DID this guy grow up in Crook county???????????
Even peanut jimmy makes the list, the 85 unit housing project he orchestrated in Florida built on a garbage dump is back to haunt poor 'ole jimmy's (good works???????), the houses are falling apart after eight (8) years, infested with ****roaches, mildew and the residents have serious skin rashes!
I have to ask if this will create the fanfare the FEMA trailer debacle has??????????

TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!!
Later, Bill Koski

It's interesting how the socialist donkies determine when one of their own is tainted by their acquaintances!
blago was under federal investigation already when he ran for re-election in 2004 and 0boy and his #1 stooge happily served on his re-election committee!
NOW that he is indicted he taints everybody aroud him? This shows that they'll gleefully associate with a crook until he is caught!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same with 0boy's pal rezko, 0boy got him a pile of money while in the Illinois senate and rezzy reciprocated by getting 0boy a sweetheart deal on his digs. They were TIGHT until rezzy got busted, then poor 'ole rezzy was nuclear all of a sudden??????????

Took my information from your post Bob. Since you never mentioned what sex the person was and since most public officials are male I figured that this one was... Next time please state the sex of the individual in question and I'll get it right.. Razz Razz

Seeings how we are turning into a global policeman and will be fighting wars until doomsday, suggestions and opinions from current servicemen in office would carry alot of weight in help in sending off military properly with the right equipment and protection.

Something we didn't do when attacking Iraq.

Don't forget that the military/industrial complex is all for hiring ex servicemen.

They hire ex 3 and 4 star generals regularly.

One ex-serviceman, now a Representative, a Marine who served in Vi-et Now-am (Forrest Gump's linguistics), has been chastised severely for his views on the war and such. What the phock would he know anyhow?

To wit:

Murtha left Washington and Jefferson College in 1952 to join the Marine Corps and was awarded the American Spirit Honor Medal for displaying outstanding leadership qualities during training. Murtha became a drill instructor at Parris Island and was selected for Officer Candidate School at Quantico, Virginia. Murtha was then assigned to the Second Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Murtha remained in the Marine Corps Reserves, and ran a small business, Johnstown Minute Car Wash. He also attended the University of Pittsburgh on the G.I. Bill, and received a degree in economics. Murtha later took graduate courses from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Murtha married his wife Joyce on June 10, 1955. They have three children and live in Johnstown.

In 1959, Murtha, then a captain, took command of the 34th Special Infantry Company, Marine Corps Reserves, in Johnstown. He remained in the Reserves after his discharge from active duty until he volunteered for service in the Vietnam War, serving from 1966 to 1967, serving as a battalion staff officer (S-2 Intelligence Section), receiving the Bronze Star with Valor device, two Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He retired from the Reserves as a Colonel in 1990, receiving the Navy Distinguished Service Medal.
